“Еще один вариант симбиоза башенной защиты и строительства колонии в пиксельном исполнении. Сыровато,но выглядит и играется вполне приятно-есть потенциал хорошей альтернативы всем известному оригиналу.”

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to do everything we can for our game. Developing and adding new features and balancing it all is a very difficult task. During development we realized that we really need players' feedback about how we can work on the game. Early Access is a way for us to make the game as interesting, exciting, and full of different features as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“At least six months, but it may take longer depending on player feedback and the objectives we set for ourselves.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version we plan to add two additional villages, which the player will be able to manage simultaneously. Each village will have its own unique style of play, mood, resources, and visuals. In addition, the full version will have all three tiers of warriors, defenders of settlements. These warriors will not only have their own appearance and characteristics, but will also be able to use special abilities. New creatures will appear in the armies of the enemies, for example, incredibly huge giants-bosses, which can take all night to fight.
A caravan system will be available in the full version, allowing the player to transport resources and warriors between settlements.
Overall, the final version will have more content, enemies, buildings, different citizens, encounters and unique events. In addition, we will add an ending in which the player will have to move his army to the demon world to deal with the threat once and for all.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Most of the planned features have already been implemented in the game. The player has one settlement at his disposal, which they can build at their own discretion. There are more than 30 different buildings, 8 types workers, as well as three types of warriors. It is possible to conduct underground excavations and extract a piece of crystal, which gives powerful permanent buffs. In addition, the player can do research in the scientist's tower, unlocking useful upgrades for the settlement, and can also send units out on the global map in search of resources, warriors, and new crystal abilities.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We have no plans on that yet, but we'll probably increase the price after the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will carefully analyze players' feedback and their posts on the Steam forum. We welcome players' ideas, their suggestions of new features and will try to quickly fix all the issues found by users.”

About This Game

Your lands were burned to the ground... Unknown, terrifying creatures poured out of portals that opened across the land, destroying everything in their path. The people were shattered, divided, but not devoid of hope! Stand at the head of a nation of Phoenix - a new State of people. Your goal is to restore humanity, rebuild settlements, protect them from night demon raids, get mythical underground crystals, and destroy the uninvited enemy forever!

Phoenix Hope is a 2D real-time, side-view strategy game in which you must develop your colony during the day and repel waves of monsters at night.

Key Features:
  • Indirect control of people - You give orders and control the gathering points of the warrior squads, and the citizens of your settlement go to work or defend themselves.
  • Hope zone - The defense of your village depends on a special zone in which enemy portals cannot appear. This zone changes dynamically depending on the level of hope of your settlers.
  • Resources management - You have a large number of different resources and tools at your disposal, which you must produce and distribute according to your needs.
  • Scientists Tower - Use the souls of defeated demons to unlock new upgrades for your settlement and warriors.
  • Global map - Send your men on expeditions outside your village to find resources, new people, and enhancements for the crystal that give buffs to your settlement.
  • Detailed, lovingly drawn pixel 2D graphics.
