What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The game pragmatic and fits its purpose, however, there is still much room for improvement.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We want to leave this game with an active development state, releasing as much as possible until the community feels happy.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Some features that we d like to include soon:
  • Allow in-game feedback posting
  • Arena and target color editing
  • Introduce gun recoil patterns(if helpful)
  • More trials
  • Gamepad sensitivity conversion
  • Allow the player to create custom trials

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There is a small set of basic trials, with two different guns. It is ready
to start training and compare performance with other players.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“It depends on how many features we include in the game. So it may vary over time, but not in short term.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will create a public issue tracker and build an active community. More details will be posted soon.”

About This Game

Just pure training

Aim Academy improves specific parts of your aim in isolation, no loading
screens, no loadouts, no distractions. Every trial is a short, repeatable run in
a clean room, so the only thing that changes between attempts is you.

Train the skill you actually want

Each built-in trial targets one thing:
  • Tiles and Tiles Hardcore — muscle memory and reflexes on short flicks
  • Flick Shots — centering and long flicks
  • 360 — flicks onto targets moving in opposite directions
  • Stalker — target tracking
  • Trails — counter-strafing, tracking and spray transfer
  • Random Ball and Bouncy Ball — seek and destroy anywhere in the room
Runs last 30 to 60 seconds, so a full warm-up costs you minutes, not an evening.

Build your own trials

The in-game editor is the same one the built-in trials are made with. Choose the
targets, how they move, where they spawn, how big the room is, how long the run
lasts and which weapon you hold, then press play from the editor and feel the
change immediately.

Share what you build

Publish a trial you are happy with. Once an administrator has reviewed it, it
becomes available to every other player, and it keeps scores and rankings like
any built-in trial. The trials other players have published come down to you
automatically when you sign in.

Know whether you are improving

  • Global rankings on every trial, built-in or player-made, so you can see where you stand
  • Progress charts tracking your scores over time
  • Your stats per trial accuracy, average score, total runs and your best streak of consecutive hits, with a chart of your last runs
Your personal stats are kept on your own machine and read the same whether you
are signed in or not.

Make it feel like your game

  • Sensitivity converter (experimental) — bring your sensitivity over from Call of Duty MW/Warzone, Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege or Battlefield V
  • Mouse or gamepad aiming, each with its own sensitivity (full gamepad menu navigation is still in progress)
  • Crosshair shape and size, room themes and resolution options
  • Playlist — star the trials you are working on and keep your routine in one place

In active development

Aim Academy is built in the open and shaped by the people training with it.
Features get added and improved based on community feedback.
