„Super Marxist Twins is our first commercial game, and our first fully-featured game project. As such we feel that building and interacting with a community of players will be critical in helping us determine how challenging our campaign should be, decide which features we should prioritize in our community sharing and editor modes, and discover which bugs we may have missed. While some of the core mechanics of the game (such as run speed and jump height) are very unlikely to change, there are countless variables that contribute to the overall balance of the game and having the input of the community will help us decide which of these to adjust.“

„We expect the game will be in Early Access for six months to one year. We believe this is a realistic time-frame as we have already developed more than half of the content required for the final game.“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„In the full version of the game we plan to have a finished campaign mode as well as a more robust and polished community mode and level editor. Part of our plan is that community interaction will in-part determine the balance of the difficulty in the game as well as the priority of features. If we are able, and if the demand is in place we may even expand the game in these ways:

• More bosses
  
• More bonus levels (community levels made by us)
  
• More objects for use in player-created levels
  
• More ways to interact in the community such as following authors, commenting on levels, and community-driven curation

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„Our campaign mode is nearly finished. All of the campaign levels are available to play in the Early Access version, across all four Provinces. The game has a community section called ‘The Common Good’ where player-created levels can be downloaded and played, as well as ranked and tagged by players. The level editor is available to use and user-created levels can be shared with the community. We’ve done our best to squash bugs and balance the difficulty, but these are areas where the Early Access community can help improve the final game.“

Změní se cena hry po skončení předběžného přístupu?

„Our current plan is that the game will be discounted throughout Early Access and the price will increase afterward. What we choose as the final price of the game may be influenced by how much content is added during the Early Access period.“

Jak plánujete zapojit komunitu do vývoje této hry?

„The player community is extremely important to this game, which is why we've already put considerable effort into providing the level editor and establishing the necessary services to enable sharing player-created levels, and plan to improve these things throughout Early Access. We plan to interact with our community both on our Steam Community Hub as well as our Discord server (https://discord.gg/BkY3ZGT). During the rest of the game’s development we would like to encourage our community to interact with us by providing feedback at these locations, participating in occasional development streams, and by creating levels to share with others in the community.“
