Why Early Access?

“This project has been a labor of love and it's grown into something much more ambitious than I started with. I believe the best way to finish it is with you. Early Access will allow me to share the game in a series of major updates, incorporate your feedback directly, and ensure the complete game is something we're all proud of.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I anticipate SELINI will be in Early Access for approximately 8 to 12 months.

The goal is to reach version 1.0 by the end of this year but my primary focus is on quality. This timeframe ensures I don't have to rush the final polish or cut planned content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access versions lets you test the core gameplay, pacing, stability etc. and might end abruptly, while the final 1.0 version is where all pieces will be connected with a flowing narrative, proper climaxes, and an ending that brings the whole journey together. ”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version offers a polished segment of the game, providing 7+ hours of playtime. The visuals and core gameplay in this part are largely final.

However, as it hasn't been tested by a large audience, you might find that some parts (certain menus, UI elements) might feel incomplete, the pacing might need adjustment and there may be rare, hard to find bugs.
With your help I can identify these issues before I expand the world with major updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will start lower during Early Access and may increase as the game nears full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Primarily through your feedback and bug reports on our Discord server and Steam Community forums. Your input will be crucial for identifying bugs, balancing difficulty and helping to shape the new content that will be added throughout Early Access.”
