Lore: The Hunt
Lore: The Hunt is an online asymmetric (4vs1) horror game where a relentless Hunter protecting their property tries to capture nimble Intruders as they try to break into catacombs under the Hunter's domain. Freerun or fight to escape or hunt down the Intruders using different powers and perks.

“Lore: The Hunt is being created by only one person. I need time to add on and improve the game using player feedback.
I want the community to have a part in shaping the major decisions I make for the game. Often times the community has a better understanding of a game's balance than the developers, so incorporating player feedback early in the development will improve the game's balance drastically.
As development continues, I would also like to add more abilities, characters, and perks, which the community would also be able to influence.”

Lore: The Hunt is an asymmetric player vs player game where you can play as the unrelenting Mysterious Man or one of the four cunning and nimble Intruders as they try to break into the catacombs under Grandpa's Cottage.

The Maps
- Enter one of many maps with procedurally spawned locations and objectives
- Bend the maps to your advantage by destroying supports, jumping off ledges and vaulting windows



Abilities
- The Hunter has many different Abilities at their disposal, all with their own unique gameplay mechanics and strategies

Disruption
- Prevent Intruders from completing their objectives
- Slow down Intruder progress by capturing them and distracting them

Protection
- Defend the objectives at all costs
- Pressure objectives with different Abilities and Perks
- Don't let Intruders into the Catacombs

Capture
- Send Intruders to Cages to trap them
- Protect the Cages until the gas settles in and they are Taken

Perks
- Choose out of many perks to assist in chasing down Intruders, stopping objectives and gaining critical information



Classes
- Each Intruder is one of multiple classes, each having their own strengths and weaknesses

Teamwork
- Assist your team by tackling objectives and stalling the Hunter
- Save your teammates from cages and protect them

Chase
- Master the art of freerunning by strategically landing and wallrunning to make distance
- Dodge the Hunter's attacks and stall for time
- Try to fight back using Hammers and deception

Survival
- Hide from the Hunter if you can't run away
- Locate the Catacomb Entrances and prepare to escape
- Gather tools scattered throughout the map to help you survive
- Don't get Taken

Perks
- Choose from a variety of perks to help aid your team, distract the Hunter or give you an edge in chase

Will you escape into the catacombs, or will you succumb to the gas and be Taken?
OR will you be the one behind the Intruders' demise?
The choice is yours.
