How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

Multiplayer! What is a festival without your friends and new acquaintances? Our next major milestone is to introduce a multiplayer mode, so that the computer simulated avatars get replaced by avatars of other players. Voicechat included.
Fully functional dressing room! You will be able to open your wardrobe and select from a wide range of clothes. Form the face of your avatar and its body to make it stand out from the crowd.
DJ-Tools: we are totally committed to supporting artists. We will give them a global stage to engage their audience in new and exciting ways, including monetization options, like selling tickets to live concerts and parties.
A selection of different party locations.
Customizable locations. Build your own club, set the stage, lights, hook it up to your own audio or video stream and go wild!
Support for all major VR headsets. Not sure, if we can take it to mobile platforms. Our priority is to provide an outstanding experience for the PC platform.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

The first party location is created and populated with simulated avatars.
In your wardrobe, you can change your avatar (randomize, only).
Choose from a list of selected Internet radio stations.
Add your own favorite streams.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“At some point in the future, we will probably switch Boom!VR to a free-to-play model and support it with micro-transactions. When this happens, we will credit everyone who bought the game with the corresponding amount in ingame currency. With the ingame currency, you will be able to support your favorite artists, who play on Boom!VR.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We invite players to join us on our discord server and the Steam forums to get in touch. We like to hear what players like to do most in the game, we welcome suggestions of new features and modifications. Upcoming changes are discussed openly for early feedback.”
