“BUGWORLD:ONLINE is launching in Early Access because we want our community to help craft the game as we make it, and we want people to be able to play and respond as we do so.

This game is all about the community - the Lobby will be a focus in our game. While the Skattle Royale will always be looping, we want to create community activities at the Mariot that will allow people to interact and even play cooperatively. We want to be in conversation with the community about what new features they would like to see.”

“BUGWORLD:ONLINE plans to be in Early Access until at least 2022. The game is in very early stages right now, which is why the price is so low. We want to build the community features with the community and that will largely be the focus of the initial phase of the game. We want this game to foster a community and we plan to do that through shared viewing spaces, community rooms, and, ultimately, cooperative PVE gameplay.

We are a very small team and this will be a long and difficult process. It will be a very long time until we have a game that's fully ready for release. But we think what we have is enough fun that we'd like to bring the community in and let them play.”

“We intend for the full game to have multiple cooperative 3D platforming levels and a full storyline with cut-scenes. We plan to add more character classes to the release version of the game.”

“Players are able to create a custom character and connect to a persistent server with an in-progress Mariot Lobby and basic functioning Skattle Royale.
