Why Early Access?

“Making Oddyssey has been a labor of love, and as gamers we know that working with consistent and direct feedback from the gaming community is the best way for us to make a game that players will enjoy. A core premise of the game is to build a Spaceship while in space so thematically, early access is us doing the same.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“In order to gather feedback and incorporate it into the game, we would need at least 6 months for features to be enhanced. Once 1.0 is launched, we plan to continue to collect feedback from players and incorporate key features that the community desires.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have additional polish as well as more tools and creatures to encounter throughout the game. Each outing in the Oddyssey will continue to be a different adventure.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Our goal is to deliver a fun experience to Early Access players right from the start, please refer to the "About This Game" section below which lists all the features that will be available in Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are currently not planning for prices to increase post early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to offer several avenues for players to submit their feedback and our dev team is eagerly awaiting thoughts from players. We intend to pay especially close attention to the Steam Forums and our community team will be available to answer questions and circulate feedback to the dev team. The feedback will be reviewed and placed among our existing schedule with the intention of including as many of the desired features or adjustments that we can.”
