Why Early Access?

“Plasma is the perfect candidate for Early Access.
We've spent five years building our vision from the ground up, now we need the community's help to shape it into its final experience.
We're a small team of passionate independent developers, our mission is to grow the game around the community's needs, be very pro-active and involved in communication with the players and quickly implement fixes and features to support the best experience in-game.
We have previous experience with Early Access, having spent a year with Poly Bridge to improve the experience and shape the content and feature around player's needs and wishes.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate spending at least a year or two in Early Access, overall it will depend on what features we prioritize and which things will be required to support the game's players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim to implement more components, more worlds to explore, more content overall, while polishing the core building experience and fixing any bugs and issues. Once the game is stable and content-complete, we plan on exploring the feasibility of real-time multiplayer.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All the core gameplay is implemented. Workshop integration, World editing, hundreds of components, everything is there to use the game to its full extent.
We need the community's input to grow the game in the right direction.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”
