Why Early Access?

“This project is a huge undertaking that I started because I've always wanted to create an underwater alien world, something I find fascinating. I decided to release it as Early Access because of the huge ressource and time commitement such a project represents for me. As I am unsure of how long it will take me to really finish this project I decided to first post it in Early Access so as to share my work with the community and work together towards finishing this project.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“As I said in the previous question, I cannot say for sure how long this project will take me to accomplish, mainly because I am soon starting college and won't have as much free time available. I can say however that it will most probably be a couple of years, meaning this is a very long term and slowly developping project. If I had to give a time period I would say 3 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include many more biomes, creatures, flora, items, crafting recipies, mechanics such as submarine and boat control and the story will be completed. The player might also be able to construct its own base but I am still unsure about this feature being implemented in the final version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It is about 45% done.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“This is a passion project of mine and I do not consider the state of the game advanced enough to put a price for it. However, I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Although I won't have as much time for game development, one of the main reasons I put this game in Early Access is to involve the community with it. I would love to hear your thoughts about what should be improved, what is not working or what features could be added, which I will do my best to try to implement.
