Why Early Access?

“We plan that our early access version will be almost final and will allow 1-player or 2-players to play the game with all 48+2 = 50 levels included - and allow users to earn achievements; see their scores on Steam leaderboards; and play against other users using Steam remote.

Why do we need to be in early access ? What is work-in-progress being refined and improved in early access version ?

During early access time, our game levels, gameplay etc is final - but we plan to we will work on support for user generated content; level editor fine-tuning and deep integration with Steam workshop items; allowing players and users to make and publish levels as well as allow people to play levels and maybe use skins for players and enemies made by others.

We would therefore be in early access for following reasons:

(1) We plan that and expect putting our game in early access will give us time to refine the process and user interface by which user-created levels are shared among users with the game providing dialogs / menu-flows for users to download and play level maps and content created by other users.

(2) We plan that users will also be able to create level maps and share them using Steam workshop with other users.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan game final version will be released in 6 months but possibly much sooner than that.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Here are the differences between the current early access version and fully version:

(1) Currently Fully playable version with all levels included - that can be played by 1 or 2 players - using gamepads or joysticks or keyboard(s) to control their tanks and complete levels.

We plan that Full version, when launched (and free upgradeable to all paid customers of early access version) will have:

(1) We plan full version will have a level editor

(3) We plan full version will have deeply integrated support for user generated content.
Most Notably, user created levels uploaded to Steam workshop and visible within the game's UGC tab / menu - which will let players download and play user-created levels.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We invite and encourage the community to use the level editor to make levels and share levels.

We request community to use the in-game dialogs and menu flows to access and play other user's created levels and to rate and comment on them.

We plan to actively solitict and act on feedback on how best to improve our level editor and how best to improve the sharing and access of other people's user generated content.”
