Miksi Early Access?

Medievalien is an action rogue-like game with RPG elements, featuring a rich story.
These features amount to a lot of content that we plan to ship in chunks through major periodic updates.

All the necessary core mechanics and gameplay flow needed to enjoy the game are already available in Medievalien, and our goal is to improve all features equally update after update, without neglecting any aspect of the game.

The game engine has been written from the ground up with a modular mindset to ensure a smooth Early Access phase, allowing us to add content in a solid, stable way, thus keeping the number of bugs to a minimum.

Early Access is a chance for us to listen to community feedback for suggestions and to ensure the proper game experience is delivered.

Our team is committed to keep working on the Early Access version until the game is ready for the full release.

We plan Medievalien to be in Early Access state until the second half of 2021.

Our plan for the full version of Medievalien is to feature:

• The last chapter of the story
  
• Two additional playable characters
  
• Steam Achievements and Trading Cards

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Medievalien is in its early stages, but we will always try to make sure that the core mechanics are solid and the game-play flows as you would expect from a "released" version of the game.
We plan for all features to be improved equally update after update, without neglecting any aspect of the game.

Medievalien currently features:

• 1 Playable character (1 still to come)
  
• 2 Boss fights
  
• 6 Weapons
  
• 22 items (with many more to come)
  
• 15+ enemies (plus their elite variants)
  
• 8 memorable music tracks
  
• 6 map waypoint types

Community feedback will be essential and kept under great consideration for all aspects of the game, from game balancing to item ideas. As such, the previous list will be kept updated throughout all the Early Access phase.

Medievalien will not change price when it will leave Early Access.

Medievalien will greatly benefit from help by the community. Our discord server and the steam community page will help us gather and organize all feedback, so feel free to join in and pitch your idea!
We will keep a counter and list of all features, additions and changes suggested by the community, and we will mark each one in the patch notes as *Community inspired*.
