Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“DarKnot will be in development for at least one full year during Early Access and to complete all planned features and content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There is a ton of content in the early access edition of the game that will keep gamers interested for a long time. While the early access version is relatively stable and playable, users should still expect to encounter a few elusive bugs and other problems that we plan to track down and resolve before the official release.
The early access version will not have MPCs with personal story arcs, lack some supporting features, and have fewer quests.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of DarKnot will be playable, and players will be able to enjoy a fleshed-out gameplay experience, create characters, change clothes, and complete missions and puzzles. In terms of content, the early access version will contain the main theme of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We want the price to represent the game. As the game grows and we add more content, features and locations, we plan to raise the price twice as much to correspond with the experience given to the player. As a thank you to the community, those who purchase the game in Early Access will receive all DLC for free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We always carefully read through the players’ feedback and watch all streams involving our game so we can improve the gameplay and experience as much as we can. Players can reach out to us on our socials, the game’s official Discord server, and also leave suggestions and feedback on the official forums on Steam.”
