「Being a small development team, Early Access will allow us to gather player feedback into the developing process. It is really important that players help shape the state of the game.」

「We plan to keep the game in Early Access for as long as it takes to reach the point where we are happy with the content and gameplay. It’s hard to establish a concrete timeline but hopefully that will be around a year,」

「We hope the game evolves naturally based on feedback from players but a few things will always remain a priority.

- A new environment with natural looking biomes.
- More items and crafting content.
- Better AI behaviors and intelligence.」

「The game currently offers a singleplayer sandbox experience with many features already in place. Please refer to the "ABOUT THIS GAME" section below for a complete list of current features.」

「I'm unsure if the price will change after or during EA. I want the price to be reflective of the potential enjoyment a player can take from the game.」

「One of the most important parts of Early Access game development in our opinion is the community and its feedback. We plan to be very active both here in the Steam forums and on our Community Discord to make sure that we are able to interact with our players and get their feedback.」

The Infected Lore:

The virus was more severe than anticipated, but treatment was looking promising. The latest drug trial seemed to work, with many getting better and fatality rates dropping. But everything changed. Mutations appeared in DNA, and unexpected side effects are piling up, changing people. Locals call them Vambies; they look like a mix between a vampire and zombie.

This is what the media told us. But is it true?

What The Infected is About:

A group of friends headed out to a remote part of a forest for a camping weekend. After a week without contact from the campers, one of the parents decided to look at their last known location. It beats waiting...
