Why Early Access?

“Decimated is in Closed Alpha and has a lot of development work ahead. As the game progresses, we'll be making improvements to everything you've seen so far.

We began community playtesting in December 2023, collecting feedback from the players. We have already completed numerous rounds of closed testing, which have proven that we are on the right path.

By making the game available for Early Access, we will be able to work with our community, collect the feedback and continue to improve the gameplay experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect closed alpha to continue until December 2024, which is subject to change based on player feedback. Our plans may evolve based on the input we receive, the game improvements we want to implement, and the amount of new content we want to add.

We promise to be as open and honest as possible and to keep the community informed of the progress of our efforts.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Improvements and polish will be a constant focus throughout closed alpha. We look forward to your feedback! The following are some of the planned features:

• Additional character classes and cybernetic augmentations
• Character progression, levelling, and skill systems
• Advanced vehicle systems, trade routes, and shipments
• Weapon and armor durability and upgrades
• Crafting, markets, and user-generated content
• PVE instances with AI enemies and bosses
• Meta gameplay”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“During the initial phases of Early Access, the following features will be available for testing:

• Multiplayer 3rd person combat
• 3 classes with special abilities
• grenades, jetpacks, parkour mechanics
• vehicles, AI & missions”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Decimated will be free for everyone to play! This gives us the opportunity to expand our community even more and bring all the thrills of the game to everyone while providing new friends and faster matchmaking.

Additional content will be available for purchase after the release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We regularly ask the community for feedback and suggestions on the Official Decimated Discord server.

Members are always encouraged to submit their creations that we can add to the game world, such as graffiti tags, animated GIFs, and references to content that they would like to see in Decimated, including vehicles, weapons, locations, and anything else that fits into the post-apocalyptic world.”
