What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our main goal is to create a game that will appeal to the players first and foremost. We have our ideas and a clear development plan. We would like to find out what view the players have of the game, so that by working with them we can modify the game in such a way that it will reach as many people as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“From 3 to 5 months, depending on the amount of interest and the opinion of players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“First of all, we want to expand the missions available in the game. We want to increase playability by diversifying the goals to be achieved, adding more interaction with the environment, and additionally implementing a system of helpers that we can send to perform a given task. We are working on the readability of the interface, adding more missions, opponents, weapons or traps every week. We are adding role-playing missions, which will be the central point of the game. With time, new molecular effects and more detailed graphics will appear.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Most of the basic mechanics available in the game are already implemented, we are currently working on the visual layer, interface and its readability. Additionally, we are introducing and expanding the tutorial.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, for the first month we are going to discount Early Access by 40%”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We believe in the principle that every two heads is not one. We want to find out how interested players are in our game idea and its implementation. We want to cooperate with the community in order to expand those elements that seem most interesting to them. We are open to contact and make changes proposed by the players, we want to discuss and together create a title tailored to our community. We intend to reward the most active players, appreciate their contribution to the creation of this title, for example: put their likenesses in our game.”

About This Game

Pest Control is a combination of a simulator and a turn-based strategy, where you play the role of an pest exterminator. Use specialized equipment, choose the right traps and get rid of unwanted guests once and for all. Free the residents from intrusive individuals and restore peace to the city.

  • Extensive crafting system
(on the locations and in the shop you can find useful items for creating weapons, traps and sprays).
  • 4 types of enemies
(we will soon expand them to 12 species).
  • More than 30 quests
(from worried old ladies to relaxed millenials).
  • 12 types of traps
(collect parts, modify and upgrade them).
  • Wide variety of sprays
(6 substances each of 3 types, which can be freely combined into colored gas bombs).
  • Diverse locations
(villas, destroyed apartments, campers, warehouses and others).
  • Unique ways to fight each pest
(if spray doesn't work, try use hammer).
  • Different types of tasks
(neutralize, capture, overtake, get rid of in any way, clear traces/destructions).
  • Skills tree
(upgrade your character and unlock new passive skills as a DIY and researcher).
  • Store for inventory replenishment
(fill in the missing equipment before mission).

In the heart of your office you will find a workshop where you can design and modify the most sophisticated traps. Items that can be used for this can be found during the mission. You can use them to improve traps and weapons or sell them on the Black Market.

You start your work in one district, but as your progress and reputation grows, you will gain access to new parts of the city. There, of course, orders will be better paid, and the items you find will be more and more interesting. The front line of your pest control is through home rooms, hotels, factories, laboratories, warehouses and many other unique locations.

The orders are different: sometimes it is just neutralization, sometimes you have to catch a live animal and each pest requires a different approach. Many of them also have their version on steroids, much stronger and more dangerous than a standard representative. Remember also to clean up after work: get rid of excrement, lairs, nests, corpses... Nobody likes to have to improve after professionals.

PS. While creating this game, no animal suffered.
