Why Early Access?

“I'd like to get as much feedback about gameplay, bugs, and feature requests, to make the game as fun for the fans as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Probably about a year, maybe longer. The most important thing is that the game is awesome.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Splitfire will have a galaxy's worth of levels, weapons, and enemies to destroy.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the game has a level select screen, 6 different levels, 12 enemies, 1 ship, 9 weapons, and 6 types of treasure. There's also a music player with a variety of music. The game is playable with mouse and keyboard or with a controller, which is the suggested way to play.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The specific feedback I'm looking for from players will mostly revolve around how they feel about weapon and enemy functionality, as well as level balance and progression.
All players are invited to the Splitfire discord, where they can communicate with me any of their suggestions.”
