„Estranged: Arctic Cold is in Early Access because it is a work in progress. Early Access allows incremental updates to the game to be added over time, but also allows players to experience the content developed so far.

Estranged: The Departure was also released into Early Access, which allowed the community to directly follow and contribute to its development over 80 content updates until it was released.”

A standalone sequel to Estranged: Act I (2014) and Estranged: The Departure (2020) continues the story of a shipwrecked fisherman, uncovering the secretive Arque Corporation, burrowing ever deeper into their dangerous and haphazard operations in the Arctic Cold.
