Why Early Access?

“We want to create a fun but challenging golf club management game but feel it's unfair to charge full price until it's received testing from the community and we have received feedback on the gameplay.

We also understand that although we have strong ideas about how the game should play that ultimately the community's enjoyment of the game is what matters. We will be listening to the feedback and incorporating the suggestions and ideas into the design.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are not in a hurry to leave Early Access, we want the game to be right. We believe a game can be Early Access and high quality and we anticipate remaining in Early Access for at least a year while there is signficant work to be done on the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will contain finished implementations of all of the features described in the game description. It will be the culmination of improvements and polish to the following feature sets to name but a few:

Assets for buildings, props and surfaces.
Complete terrain editing toolset.
Advanced golfer AI.
Optimisations for all aspects of the game to ensure a smooth experience.
Playing in single player.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Sandbox and scenario modes only while extensive testing is performed on terrain editing and golfer AI. Basic gameplay mechanics and course design are in place. The player can expect to be able to:

- Place all common course surfaces including tees, greens, fairway, short & long rough and bunkers.
- Place a variety of obstacles including rocks.
- Place foliage including trees, bushes and plants.
- Basic terrain sculpting tools.
- Early player AI.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game will start low and be raised gradually as we feel the quality and quantity of the gameplay being purchased increases. We don't want to overcharge you for what we are delivering.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Steam reviews will be taken seriously, please be honest. The forum will be actively moderated while features are discussed and bugs are addressed.

A discord server will also be in place.”
