“I'm releasing Bud Masters as an early access to get community feedback and help with testing new cards and ideas for the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Bud Masters development should be continuing throughout 2024. I have a few bugs to fix up and hopefully some new card art soon!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release version to include many UI improvements, an improved yet still stoned AI, more opponent personalities, more arenas, more cards, better card 'art', more combos (as I add more cards), more card abilities, more card effects, more card backs, more sound loops, additional game modes, Quality of Life improvements and definitely more crazy within the game...”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The card game at it's core is fully playable. Expect 'some' things to break on major version updates. These are not limited to, but may include: card decks needing to be rebuilt (rare), player saves needing to be reset, stoned AI behaviour quirks, UI screen size issues (currently best at 16:9 ratio e.g. 1080p). Support will be provided in the community forums.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of Bud Masters may increase over time as I put more of myself into the project. I'm 100% committed to building a simple, fun, 'no pay to win' and a 'no micro-transaction' card game. You will always have access to everything Bud Masters - Battle Edition has to offer both now and in the future.”

“We will be keeping close contact with the player community via our Discord Channel and reviewing all feedback ASAP.”

Bud Masters is solo-developed casual indie weed lifestyle deck building card game.

The goal is simple, play your cards to deplete your opponent's bud bowl while defending your own bud bowl.
