“I've been working on Verdant Village for a few years now. While the game isn't quite finished I believe it is important to get feedback from as many people as possible. I've chosen early access in the hopes that having various people play and talk about the game will help me to make an even better final product.”

“As of early 2023 it was determined that the engine being used to make Verdant Village was lacking and causing a variety of issues. Due to this the game is being remade in a new engine. While this process will not be nearly as long as starting fresh it will set things back.”

“The full version of the game should include more of just about everything along with a couple of key systems that will be added slowly throughout early access. By the time the game fully releases I plan to have added many things. A short list of planned features is listed below.

지금 앞서 해보기 버전은 어떤 상태인가요?

“The current state of the early access version is that much of the game is intact. At time of writing you can farm, fish, mine, hunt, perform alchemy, do quests, explore the map, do archaeology, decorate, cook, forage, and some other things. The game is playable at the moment however there is still a lot to add to make the game stand out in the genre.”

앞서 해보기 동안과 앞서 해보기 이후의 게임 가격이 다르게 매겨지나요?

“The price of Verdant Village will be the same both in and out of early access. I have no plans to change it. On average users claim to get around 40 hours of playtime out of the game right now. Some have claimed more than double that and the game is still incomplete. Therefore the 15 USD price feels justified to me at least.”

개발 과정에 어떻게 커뮤니티를 참여시킬 계획이신가요?

“The community is more than welcome to join in with the development of the game. There is already a community on itch that plays. There is also a discord server made to allow people who play to get in touch with others. I also frequent the server to answer questions, learn about bugs, and generally hear feedback on the game and what could be done to make it even better. All social media related links are available on the title screen of the game itself for easy access.”
