Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The 'Rebirth' of Deadly Land is a massive undertaking, as I am essentially rebuilding the game from the ground up. My current goal is to keep the game in Early Access until the 2.0 update is fully stabilized and all core features—such as the new Loadout system, the overhauled map, and refined combat mechanics—are polished to a high standard.

I anticipate that the game will remain in Early Access for at least another 12 to 18 months to ensure enough time for community testing and balancing of the new systems. However, the 'Rebirth' update itself will be released as soon as the core systems are ready for public play.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Deadly Land will be a complete evolution of the original concept, centered around the Rebirth (2.0) architecture.

Key differences include:

A Completely New Map: The final version will feature a much larger, more detailed world with varied environments, optimized for the new lighting and weather systems.

Advanced Loadout & Progression: While the Early Access version focuses on core combat, the full release will include a deep progression system where players can unlock and master a vast array of weapon attachments, skins, and gear.

Polished Gameplay Mechanics: Expect significantly more fluid character movement, refined AI behavior, and a more tactical melee combat system compared to the legacy version.

Dynamic World Events: The full version is planned to integrate the weather system directly into the gameplay, where storms and day/night cycles actively change zombie behavior and survival strategies.

Enhanced Audio-Visual Experience: A complete overhaul of sound effects and 3D models to ensure a modern, high-quality survival atmosphere.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of Deadly Land is fully playable and features the original 'Classic' survival experience, focused on intense wave-based combat.

Please be aware that the game is currently in a major transition phase. While the Classic version is available, my primary development focus has shifted entirely to the upcoming Rebirth (2.0) Update.

As seen in our latest previews, the 2.0 version is already showing significant progress in the following areas:

New Main Menu & Lobby: The entire user interface and lobby system have been rebuilt for a modern and fluid experience.

Visual Systems: Dynamic weather and the new lighting engine are already functional in the development build and greatly enhance the atmosphere.

Loadout System: The new weapon customization and loadout system is already implemented and functional, currently undergoing final optimization and fine-tuning for the best possible feel.
