About This Game

YOUR THOUGHTS ARE UNTIDY. WE'LL HELP YOU SORT THEM OUT.

Can’t tell what’s going on? We get it. We’ve all been through this before.
Welcome to Ormagi Press, localized in Mt. Ormagi.

To recap, we call it so, because legends say that those who visit the temple on the summit would be granted a ‘second conscience’... whatever that’s supposed to mean.

...The translation’s pretty rough, and we’re still figuring it out, okay? Don’t look at me like that – this is all we’ve got out of it so far.

But hearing from those who were lucky to make it up there and out of there - which is... not a lot of folks, since most of us share a sentiment to not take any huge life risks ever again - they often mentioned seeing themselves from different perspective points, and getting pretty disoriented... though, they haven’t made it far deep into the temple and proceeded to run when they heard... someone calling for them.

That does sound very unusual now, doesn’t it? But in case if you decide to travel there yourself, I thought I’d let you know about what to expect there... sounds fair, no?

...whatever the purpose of your travel there is...
...I will not be prying into it to respect your privacy...

Good luck, and stay safe.

Ormagi Press is an adventure game that, depending on what poison you choose, will have you adjust to side effects kicking in at select moments. How often would they happen? And when exactly to be prepared for them? You, as Nathan Philips with help from an underlying caller, will know for certain when you’re ready to recover shards of Nathan’s suppressed past and—...

...Well, his situation is pretty complicated.

Years earlier, a mysterious letter slipped through the envelope slot of the front door, offering Nathan and ‘his classmates’ a tour around ‘Stramedia Safehouse Facility’ ahead of its official opening. At some point, on site, he has been subjected to a lot of things that no one his age at that time should ever see and go through, leaving him and very few others to be lone survivors of... whatever went down there.

And since then, that left him wondering... If he didn’t accept the invitation, what difference would that have made? Would the state of the world be any different, should he have just... stayed at home? If not, then would he find any more survivors out there? For how long would he survive before joining his neighbors into the fleshy mound of corpses that make up the Human Wasteyard?

Does the temple hold all the answers to his questions? There’s one way to find out.

  • Experience Nathan’s story in two different scenarios! Delve deep further in or find a way out of the bowels of the convoluted Stramedia Safehouse Facility, or escape the Human Wasteyard, marked for a nuclear strike, alone or with others! Pick your poison!

  • Your choices do matter around here! What we mean is that you can definitely clear out any area in (almost) any non-linear order, although the longer you put locations aside for later - the challenges awaiting there ahead become even more difficult when you visit them. Oh yeah, and your choices, as well as your performance, carry a significant effect on one of the several endings you may find. Good luck!

  • How exactly would you like to endure pain? With two vitality systems to go with, alongside some other difficulty settings you may tweak, you can make your experience be as chill as it can be, or purposefully make it the absolute worst. Why the hell not?

  • A nice variety of accessibility options that put "accessible" back in "accessible horror"!...without resorting to lazy merch spawners, YouTube content farm foundings and other malicious corporate practices, of course!
Whenever you have a problem with something, this game's settings options may enhance the experience more nicely - nice enough to fit your personal preferences! You wanna experience the game as if it was a point-and-click game? Sure, go for it!

  • No motion blur included. Ever. I know you hate it. I do, too.
