  • A dungeon-crawling game in which the player explores several different dungeons on the Plane of Shadows, a misty, dark, and somber place.
  • Dozens of different items to collect on the different runs.
  • Hordes of enemies, but some friendly NPCs.
  • Procedurally-generated dungeons. Every run is different.
  • Turn-based, grid-based, combat.
  • Permadeath.
  • Learn new spell words as you explore the Plane of Shadows, unlocking more uncommon and interesting combinations for spells.
  • Several different magical schools, like evocation, divination, necromancy, and others.
  • A depression system, in which the essence of the Plane of Shadows and some of its denizens affect the player’s willpower. Fight not only against your enemies but also against the sheer hopelessness and dismay that slowly creeps into your soul.
