The House in the Hollow is a first-person adventure game that weaves horror, the occult, and forbidden magic into a mysterious and long forgotten world.

You play as Aloysius Abadier, a man driven to uncover the century old mystery surrounding the sudden disappearance of the notorious occultist, Francis Barrett.

Your journey leads you deep into remote, forgotten forests, where a dark and twisted realm awaits steeped in occult rituals, forbidden relics, and shadowed magic. Within the abandoned Manor House, long buried secrets and the power of ancient spells hide dark, malevolent forces that linger in the halls, determined to ensure you never escape.

Blending first-person exploration, puzzle-solving, and discovery, you use the power of forgotten magic to unravel the mystery and awaken the secrets buried within the Hollow.

STORY -

Francis Barrett was an English magician and occultist who led a reclusive life, spending most of his time in an isolated manor house.

Nestled in a hollow and surrounded by a dense forest, the house was hidden from the world.

Little is known about Francis Barrett beyond his authorship of The Magus, a Celestial intelligencer and compendium of occult and magical information.

Over the many years since Francis Barrett disappeared, people have attempted, without success, to find the mysterious house and discover what happened to Mr. Barrett.

No one can be sure what experiments Francis Barrett performed, or what was conjured up, in that house.

Some who have gone searching for the house have never returned.
