為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「We are a small team with big dreams. We always wanted to make a game that can be enjoy by people of all ages. To help us achieve that goal, we want to involve the community as much as possible from start to finish and beyond. With early access, our limited budget can go a long way while we show off features as they become available and not have to worry too much about things breaking here and there.

If you are looking for a polished game with little to no bugs, please wait until our full release to purchase. We are releasing on early access to involve the community in the development process.

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久？

「The journey to perfection is a quest that never ends. We have a long road ahead of us and we are hoping we can get the game finished by the end of 2021. We will continue to polish and fix bugs until we feel the game is near perfection. We hope you join us on this adventure and make Spirit a game you can be proud of.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「The early access version will include the basic features of the game. We will break down our development into phases. We can't promise you that everything will go exactly according to plan as many things can happen.

For the first phase of early access, when it's ready for people to test, we will have one game mode, Sandbox. Sandbox will allow us to develop without restricting our hands on what we can add and remove. We are also working on a very small budget so a lot of the asset will be placeholders while we acquire our own custom ones. We will be putting out updates frequently and if you wish to have a more polished game, this is not the time to join.

For phase two, we plan on adding our main game mode, it will be a progression style mode where you will gain and lose karma based on how you interact with the ecosystem. Will you follow the natural order and successfully reproduce and populate the world or will you go on a destructive path? We will gradually be adding more custom animals as we will no longer rely on a small budget.

For phase three will do clean up, bug fixing, all around polishing, and making community suggestions a reality. If you wish to contribute to the development of the game, please join our Discord.

The "final" release will never be the final as we plan to continue working on the game for years to come. We plan to have as many animals as possible in our game. That means we are planning to include more than just one type of certain species. They may or may not have different models depending on how different they are.

We are planning to make DLC after the final release, FREE. We expect the game to be very big in terms of variety and in terms of data. So server owners can choose which DLC to include.

This is our vision and this is what we hope to achieve.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「The current state is rough, there are many bugs that needs to be fixed, and we are using many placeholder assets while we acquire our own custom made models and animations. We will have a working multiplayer game with key features included. Please join our Discord if you wish to help contribute to our game and help with bug reports.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「Price will not change when we leave early access.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「Community feedback is our number one priority. That is why we want to release as Early Access to get as many feedback as possible before releasing the full game. We are actively looking for members to join our Staff team. If you have experience with C++, Unreal Engine 4, Blender, MAYA, or anything that could contribute to our game, please contact one of our staff members
