Miksi Early Access?

Mendel's garden is an experimental take on gardening games because of which we feel that involving the community in its development will help us get much needed feedback on the direction of the game and ensure we create something that people can thoroughly enjoy. We currently have about 2-3 hours worth of content in the game which explores the first area in the game. We hope to add much more with frequent updates and hope to provide our early access players with regular new content to enjoy.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We want to keep the game in Early Access for roughly twelve months and are currently planning on releasing the game by late 2020.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version will have additional gardens to explore with different twists to the 'Trait' mechanic which is the fundamental part of Mendel's Garden. It'll also feature additional characters from the Bhumi universe and further Mendel's story arc.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current version of the game contains The Garden of Eden (one of the five explorable gardens) which is fully playable and explorable with its own narrative.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We do plan on gradually increasing the price as we add new content or features. However we will make sure that we post early announcements regarding any price increases.

We hope to get the community's feedback on the various gardens and twists to the 'Trait' mechanic as we keep adding more content with every update. We hope to interact with the community on the Steam community group so as to listen to any feedback people might have.
