What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early access gives players the chance to purchase the game early and support the development. It also lets players help shape the future of the game - vote on features we should work on, find bugs, submit feedback and play the game before 1.0.

We will continue to fix bugs, add features, and balance the game based on player feedback. We firmly believe that involving the community will allow us to build the best possible game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our very rough estimate is one year, but that is subject to change. We will continue to develop until we feel that the game is complete.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have a completed story, more creatures, more biomes, more ways to automate and a lot less bugs. The features will change depending on how the community votes and the feedback we get while in development.

There will be a roadmap that's always up to date.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“-Atrio has most of its core gameplay implemented.
-All of the core automation, crafting and survival elements are fully functional, but lack polish.
-the combat system is fairly barebones and needs a good amount of work to reach our expectations.
-There are only three biomes, with more planned to be added over time.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. We do not have plans to change the prices, but this could change if we continue to update the game for longer than we originally planned.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We have added a feature voting button in the game so the community can vote on their favorite features to add. You can submit feedback through our Discord and file bugs online.”

About This Game

Atrio is a survival game set in a cyberpunk inspired post-apocalyptic world. Bend nature to your will by capturing and exploiting the creatures and environment to help you survive at all costs. The many threats and challenges you will face are too difficult to handle on your own, you must build, automate and optimize your systems to keep the world at bay to stay alive.

You are a nameless android tasked with restoring Station 3. Where are all the humans? What is your real purpose? What are these giant statues? The only way to know is to head into the dark wild.

Build huge, efficient automation systems to keep your base alive while you explore the world.

Hunt down and catch creatures in the wild.

Every captured creature has a unique role to play in your assembly line.

Hand Crafted Open World - Explore a beautiful and unique world, shaped by the contrast of sharp neon lights and darkness, while you fight to turn the lights back on.
Witty Story- Unravel the real reason that you’ve been sent to the surface in this witty narrative experience.
Sandbox Mode - Want to just relax? Sandbox mode lets you get creative in the safety of your own simulation.
Unique Creatures - A roster of unexpected, half robot, half organic creatures wait for you on the surface.
Pooping Deer? - That’s right! Something as unusual as deer poop may be the key to your survival.

“This is the greatest game of all time” - Someone... hopefully soon. The game isn’t out yet so we don’t have any reviews (yet)!
