Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

“We really believe that working hand in hand with an active, involved community is the best way to create a great game. We've done it with our previous game Judgment, worked closely with the community during 2 years of early access, in which we released more than 10 updates with at least half the changes coming from player input. We have enough funds to finish development of the game even without Early Access sales, but we still want to release in early access for the reasons above.”

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

“According to our past experience, we plan for the game to be in early access between one to two years in which we constantly improve and update the game based on our own vision and community feedback.”

“While the final decisions will depend very much on community feedback, here are a few things that we plan to add to the full version of the game: A story-based campaign, more biomes, each with unique challenges and resources, and additional content such as new enemies, units, buildings, and research.”

“The Early Access version already has all the features described in the About section such as building a flying city, defending it from nightmare creatures, researching new tech and flying your city to different locations to avoid destruction and to find new resources. The game is already addicting and enjoyable and our testers have been playing it for tens of hours before running out of content.”

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

“As we add more features, content, and improve the experience of the game and the time players can enjoy it, we will probably increase the price of the game before the full release to reflect the greater value players receive compared to the EA version, and because we believe our earliest supporters that help us shape the game should benefit from a lower price.”

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

“As in our previous game, we plan on actively seek feedback and be very communicative with our players, be it on Steam forums, our discord channel, or in-game feedback. We will provide regular updates based on said feedback, and keep iterating until both us and the community are happy with the result.”

Dream Engines: Nomad Cities takes place in a wacky, whimsical world full of strange science and dreams. In order to survive in this strange, nightmare-infested, post-apocalyptic world, you must build and defend a flying city using old-world tech. Explore the world in search of scarce resources, fight off weird nightmare creatures, and find out about the old empires and their dream-tech.
