Why Early Access?

“We already have a solid starting point for an idea we believe can go far, but without community, we can't validate whether our ideas are moving in the right direction. Thus, here we are, releasing it as an Early Access title -- so we can build the game together!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Not Dead Yet will remain in Early Access for, at least, one year. We believe this is just enough time to create and polish all our ideas, as well as the ones our community dream about.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access aims to build the foundation of Not Dead Yet. It'll deliver the core features we believe are critical to have a fun, polished, and replayable experience. In short, by the end of Early Access, we'll be delivering all the mechanics and features that make Not Dead Yet, Not Dead Yet. This also includes enough content that justifies all said mechanics.

Being more specific, by the end of Early Access, expect to see things like:

  • More variety of enemies,
  • More variety of guns,
  • More variety of maps,
  • More activities for players to do during a match,
  • Better AI,
  • Better FPS,
  • Better UI,
  • Better animations,
  • Better sound effects,
  • Better overall balancing,
  • And more...

Some of the above might change based on community feedback, but in short, we want the full version to deliver a solid and fun foundation that allows us to scale even further.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, Not Dead Yet is only delivering the minimum of features, mechanics, polish, and content needed to make the game loop -- which is fun by itself -- with the minimum amount of bugs possible.

We are confident that you and your friends will have lots of fun out of it as is, but we still lack substance and content.

The currently available mechanics and features include:

  • Character movement
  • Jumping
  • Shooting -- with a variety of weapons
  • Zombies that scale forever
  • A "Loot box" for buying better weapons
  • Support for cooperative sessions, up to 4 players
  • Achievements

It's also worth mentioning we are one of those companies that dislike bugs, and we strive to don't ship game-breaking bugs. That said, in the current state, you won't find anything that breaks your experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price's going to increase after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The idea of releasing the game under Early Access is to build community. Not Dead Yet is our second public game, and we learnt from our first release that community is everything if we want to shine.

Here everyone has voice for everything: balancing, features, tweaks, enhancements, bug reports, etc. Additionaly, we, from the development team, are committed to listen to everything our community has to say, as well as to respond and react personally the maximum we can.”

About This Game

Not Deat Yet is a 1-4 player co-op, fast-paced, rogue-lite FPS, with elements of deck-building and strategy that will test your skills in creating your own build while having to manage your resources and survive restless waves of zombies.

After some yet unknown global events, Earth has become hostile and packed with not-so-dead "people" - and you're amongst the survivors who try to escape to a better place. Is there a better place?


  • Fast-paced, non-stop zombie carnage. One of our goals is that you won't ever have a second to yawn. Enemies are always lurking around and bring different challenges.

  • RPG Elements. Crafting, scrapping, repairing, perks, and a little dose of RNG - yep, all included!

  • Every match is unique. New experiences at each new game. Designed with deck-building gameplay in mind, you'll be able to experiment with different roles, perks, and weapons - all that resulting in surprisingly fun and distinct playstyles.

  • Every enemy is unique. If you want to succeed, only a weapon is not enough - you gotta learn and master your foes because each and every enemy is distinct from the other.

  • Lots of weapons. Pistols, shotguns, rifles, SMGs - play with your favorite weapon type!

  • Difficult yet rewarding gameplay. Every time you succeed, you really feel like so.

  • 4 players Online Cooperative. Want to play with friends? We've got you covered.

  • Steam Achievements. Who doesn't like a good achievement, right? We have plenty - and are always adding more.


Not Dead Yet is in early development. Meaning placeholder content, occasional bugs, not-perfect performance, unbalanced gameplay. Just buy it if you don't mind having to deal with these things. Also, you're welcome and encouraged on helping us shaping the future of the game!
