Why Early Access?

“Logic World is an ambitious game with ambitious goals. It will take us a while longer to make good on the full vision. As we continue to build up the game, Early Access will help guide development by bringing in feedback from a broad group of players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're simply not sure. Development speed is hard to predict. Sometimes things take a lot more work than we expect them to. Furthermore, none of us are able to work on the game full-time at the moment, and we just don't know how many hours per week we'll have for it in between other work and the rest of life.

It's probably going to take a few more years, but we're going to finish this game, and accept no compromise on quality, no matter how long it takes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Throughout Early Access we will be adding:

New components to build with
New powerful building mechanics
A campaign mode to challenge you and teach the concepts behind digital logic
Extreme optimizations to let you build bigger and simulate faster
Extensive modding support
Graphical improvements

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We have a fully featured Sandbox mode with 30 unique components to build and play with. There are various advanced building mechanics to help you quickly move ideas from your head into to world.

Circuits are simulated with an advanced algorithm. The simulation speed can get extremely fast, up to tens of thousands of updates per second for most circuits. There are zero-tick diodes and relays.

The game has full multiplayer support, so you can build and play with your friends. Self-hostable server software is included with your purchase.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price will increase as we ship major updates.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Extensively! We are constantly reading and responding to player feedback. We have a dedicated section of our website for tracking and managing feature requests & bug reports. We are often online for voice chats in the Discord to talk with players about the state of the game and where they'd like to see improvements.

The whole point of Early Access is to benefit from the viewpoints of the players. We are taking full advantage of that. If you have feedback or ideas for Logic World, we want to hear them :)”

Logic World is a first-person sandbox simulation game that's all about digital logic.

This is your playground to explore the emergent complexity of binary circuits. Design, build and operate incredible logic machines.

Create math circuitry, data storage, displays, control panels, minigames, word processors, communication networks, or anything else you can dream up. You can even invent your own computer!

As you play, you'll learn about how different circuits are designed and how you can use them together to perform complex operations. Grow your skills with each completed project.
