About This Game

Main Story

Time of peace abruptly ends when a menacing imperial force overtakes the Availian Academy, home to Faylien’s newest and most talented sorcerers and knights. Dragged into a re-awakened war, it is up to Mage and Melanie to take their wand and blade and summon up their selactic strength to prevail against the assault from an unruly usurper with a multigenerational grudge. Selatria is a turn-based RPG inspired by great classic 16-bit games of the SNES era such as Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, and Lufia.

Selatria: Full Version includes the whole story of Selatria, including the three chapters from “Advent of the Dakk’rian Empire” and the final three chapters.

This is considered the definitive edition of the Selatria saga.

Friends Along The Way!

In Selatria, you’ll meet and play as many memorable characters with their own unique skillset. Formulating and nurturing the best party is essential in prevailing against enemy attacks and your strategy in battle!

Mage

- (Magician, Elementalist, or Paramedic)

Strengths: Powerful offensive and defensive magic
Weaknesses: Weak physical attacks and defenses
Works well with: Melanie, Gobby

Mage is one of the main characters of Selatria. On the verge of failing senior year at the Availian Academy, he is tasked with retrieving an ancient artifact from the nearby Trial Cave as an alternative last-ditch effort to pass. He sneaks his friend Melanie along so he wouldn’t fail the exam. Upon getting the artifact and returning to the academy, he and Melanie see the city in flames from an invading empire. After being forced to leave, he begins on a journey to reclaim his home.

Mage is a flexible spellcaster, able to specialize in offensive (Elementalist) or defensive (Paramedic) magic or use a little of both (Magician). He can also restore his own AP with his Focus ability.

Melanie

- (Knight)

Strengths: High HP and defenses, can trigger Team Attacks
Weaknesses: Low AP pool, low solo damage
Works well with: Mage, Number 016

Melanie is one of the main characters of Selatria. An accomplished knight of the Availian Academy. She tags along with Mage to make sure he doesn’t fail his final exam. Along with Mage, she sees her school turned to flames by the invading Dakk’rian Empire, but finds a way out and joins Mage on an adventure to save their home.

Melanie is a good leader, able to take a lot of damage and hold her own in a fight. She can give Mage, Number 016, Gobby, and even Luis extra turns with some of her abilities.

Luis

- (Geezer)

Strengths: Uh… Next question.
Weaknesses: Unreliable and grumpy.
Works well with: Himself

A tired grumpy old man who is tired of greeting adventurers to his town of Rivale. Luis wants more out of life and joins because he claims he knows the reclusive medic Morgen. Is he telling the truth? Who knows, but it’s dangerous to go alone.

This is his world, and we’re all living in it. Okay, Luis.

Luis used to be a powerful magician but has forgotten most of his spells. He also doesn’t like being told what to do. If you give him a hammer, he has good damage. If you give him some time to reminisce, he might surprise you…

Number 016

- (Assassin)

Strengths: High single target damage, can inflict status
Weaknesses: Low defenses, weak area damage
Works well with: Melanie, Waltear

Haunted by her past as an assassin for the Dakk’rian Empire, Number 016 breaks free and helps Mage and Melanie on their quest. She is cold and calculating and doesn’t speak many of her thoughts to the party.

As Number 016 was a contract killer, she is used to handling many scenarios alone. But she also works well under a competent leader, so she likes fighting alongside Melanie and Waltear. She can weaken enemy attacks and defenses and can do a lot of damage to weakened targets.
