Why Early Access?

“Early Access is a way to stay in contact with the community, collect feedback from the players and make sure the quality of the release version meets ours and our players’ expectations.
Conglomerate 451 is based on a procedurally-generated missions system, but we’ll be taking advantage of the Early Access period to balance it, add new features and polish all aspects. Our current plan is to include 35 enemy classes, 10 character classes, more than 100 skills, 50 weapon upgrades, more than 30 cyber implants (upgradable), hundreds of different mental and physical traumas into the final version of the game... all of which needs careful work to keep everything balanced and fun.

We want players to be part of this process and help us create a deep, fun, tactical game that everyone enjoys.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our plan is to keep the game in Early Access for around 6-8 months. During this period, we want to update the game twice every month – sometimes the updates will include major additions, sometimes minor. The development roadmap will be available in the game description below for everyone to see. However, we don’t want to make any big promises or set specific dates. Game development can get complicated, and we want to make sure we deliver a complete product that satisfies both ourselves and you, the players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We're planning to add lots of features (different mission types, a drugs and intoxication system, diplomatic missions, etc), and five or six times the content compared to the initial version. All information about Early Access content will be made available in the game description below for everyone to see.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We have the core system in place: you can create and manage your agency and your squad, and use the research centre and healing centre. There is one District to begin with (in the final game there will be four) and there is currently around 1/5 of the total planned content (enemies, scenarios, items, weapons, etc.)”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Our plan is to increase the price at least once as we get closer to the full release of the game. We will be informing everyone through the Steam news, Steam Discussion forums and our social media channels before each price change, so you can plan ahead.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We encourage player feedback and suggestions! We’re continually talking to our community about our design process, and keeping them informed of our decisions and improvements with regular updates.

Update 0.1.5 is NOW LIVE!

Hello everyone,

another week, another update! We are going to make it short so you can get back to playing.

Changelog v0.1.5

  • Added the "controls" option to change the keys bound. Please note: that's not the final feature; it's temporary to help players without a QWERTY keyboard to play the game.
  • Hacking as now an extensive tutorial

  • Solved the issue that prevented to attack an enemy behind another enemy's dying until the dying effect was finished
  • Now an agent cannot develop the same trauma several times at the same time
  • Now the music slider works properly

  • Restyled the room entrances in the Hive location
  • Now during the combat, the skill tooltip appears the first time you will highlight the icon
  • Now the Sentry doesn't emit a strange background noise during the battle
  • Now when an enemy is guarding another enemy and he dies, the GUARD effect is removed from the second enemy
  • Now if the enemies are ambushed, their icons are positioning correctly at the end of the initiative bar
  • Now the agents male SFX are played correctly when they are hit by an enemy

  • Increase the HP restored by the Drifter and Soldier skills

  • Now during the combat, the doors have an effect to suggest that they cannot be opened until the fight is ended

  • Now the arrow to open the details windows in the Agent's inspect section is more evident
  • Now the current squad is highlighted in the squad assignment window
  • Now the crosshairs during the combat is more evident
  • Now the button labels in the popup at the end of a mission are more clear
  • Now in the mission map, the doors have a more visible color
  • Now in the Healing Pod window are visible the chance to remove a trauma
  • Now moving the mouse on the character icon on the initiative bar will make an arrow appear on the character in the scene
  • Now the keys collected during a mission are displayed in the HUD, near the mini-map

NOTE: we added a seed number in the pause menu during the mission. If you will find a bug, please report it with this number: it will allow us to reproduce quickly the bug (and, of course, fix it). Thank you!

Update 0.1.1 is NOW OUT!

Hi everyone,

we are releasing our very first update! :steamhappy: We took your initial feedback to heart, so we are bringing bug fixes as well as balancing and quality of life improvements.

Here is the changelog:


  • Solved the issue that causes a random invisible wall during the missions
  • Solved the issue that made impossible to quit the game after entering and exit from the load game menu
  • Corrected some small spelling error in the tutorial texts
  • Solved the issue that causes the enemies slow movements in the city


  • Now the Perk's effects are showed correctly
  • Removed the "flying object" in the sewers after opening a door
  • Now skipping the cloning animation doesn't cause a LUT changes in the scene
  • When coming back to the main menu, the background music starts correctly
  • Now enter and exit from the Map screen doesn't cause an SFX volume change
  • Now using the gamepad, pressing CONTINUE button in the tutorial popups doesn't activate also the interface under them


  • Rebalanced the costs and the number of researches needed to upgrade skills, weapons and shields ranks
  • Rebalanced the chance to remove a Trauma, healing an injured Agent


  • Now the build version is showed in the main menu
  • Now changing an agent's skill shows a confirm popup
  • Now the chances to remove a Trauma are showed in the UI
  • Now when assigning the agent to the squad, the characters already in the team are highlighted
  • Now the status icons near the Agents' portrait have different colors

About This Game

Conglomerate 451 is a grid-based, dungeon crawling first-person RPG with roguelike elements set in a cyberpunk world.

You are the CEO of a Special Agency, instructed by the Senate of Conglomerate city to restore the order in sector 451, where corrupted corporations have established their turfs. Thanks to the last constitutional decree, you are allowed to create human clones. Build your own team, manipulate DNA, train your agents, equip them with high-end weapons, choose what cyberlimbs to implant, and send the squad to the field with only one goal: eradicate crime and restore order at any cost.

  • Manage your resources - Make use of your own personal R&D department to research advanced technology, unlocking new features, powers and options for progression
  • More than just body mods - In addition to upgrading weapon and armor proficiencies, augment your body with interchangeable cyber implants that completely change your agent’s skills and utility
  • Pain and Trauma system - Even the smallest wounds can have a lasting impact. By taking damage in combat, agents risk generating permanent Traumas that will follow them between missions

  • Drugs and Disorders: buy synthetic drugs to temporarily empower your agents, with the risk that they develop Mental Disorders*.
  • Perks and Mutations: your agents can acquire special skills (Perks) and obtain Mutations*.
  • Diplomacy*: talk to the Narks on the streets of the city and obtain favors.
