What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We have been testing and tweaking Endzeit over the past few months, trying to find the best compromise between action, fun and immersion. The game is already functional and enjoyable, but we would like to hear more player feedback and see how the multiplayer mode works out in public matches before we make our final design decisions.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We hope to move out of Early Access in less than 6 months, since we have already play tested and fixed most issues we are quite optimistic about it.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want the full release version to be a polished product. All major bugs should be fixed, the gameplay loop should be refined and balanced, placeholder assets should be removed, the map should be expanded, more points of interest should be added inbetween, the game should be more optimized. Missing core features and content should also be added over the course of our Early Access phase.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is functional and relatively polished. Some assets are placeholders or still missing entirely, not all weapons, vehicles and locations are implemented yet, there can be occasional bugs. However all features seen in our trailers and screenshots are already implemented, for example:
-More than 10 different tools and weapons
-1 wheeled vehicle in different variants
-1 stationary gun type
-Sleeper AI and damage model
-1 circular level, ca. 800x800m”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan to increase the price for the full release version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to have a public roadmap where players can see upcoming features and give further feedback on them. We want to give the community the possibility to vote on certain tasks so we can prioritize them for our update schedules. We also want to partake in discussions on the Steam forums and other places to communicate our intents and learn about the ideas and wishes of the communiy.”

About This Game

Endzeit is an action survival shooter, with a focus on immersion, gunplay and freedom. Players have to cleanse the game world of hundreds of roaming robots (sleepers) while fighting together or against each other.

Story:
A military project called the "Super Trooper" was meant to accelerate the outcome of the war and save millions of soldier's lives. They where humanoid fighting robots designed to be cheaply produced in masses, with thick armor plates, a self destructive explosive charge and capable of carrying heavy weapons and ammunitions. After years of massive losses on the enemy side they started to deploy radar trailers in an attempt to disturb the robots communication systems. Being cut off from the master computer, the Super Troopers entered a fail safe state, waiting in place to receive new orders while attacking anything that came too close, not able to distinguish between friend, foe or civilian.

Key Features:
-Satisfying gunplay
-Minimal HUD
-Vehicles
-Variety of different weapons and tools
