What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Our team believes that a favorite game is created by game makers and players. We look forward to hearing more voices from players and trying to make our game a game that not only everyone like to play but also a game that everyone love to make, to have.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It depends on the expectations of you, our dear players. If you are satisfied with the version that we will update in the near future, we will end the Early Access status, while the time may be less than half a year. If you put forward a lot of suggestions and expectations, we will continue to polish and perfect the game in one, two, even more than three years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our complete version will have a more beautiful game screen, more game features, support for more languages, and of course, more game content.
Specifically:
1. Content: The EA version now has two main chapters ("I have the job", Collaborative Filtering), and our conplete version will have at least five main chapters (we will add chapters about evolution algorithms, ontology-based methods, hybrid approach) and a more complete ending scenario. of course, based on feedback from the community, our complete version may have even more chapters than this. In addition, we will add more dialogue to reduce the proportion of the "painful learning process" in the game process as well as more endings.
2. Function: we will add more small games and interactive scenes to increase the entertainment of this game, like: Interaction with the instructor, interaction with other colleagues, random business news and a random event system that has a major impact on the game's outcome.
3. In fact, our overall goal is very simple. If one day, the players can smile and say, "This game is really fun, and I learned something from it" instead of "Hey, you posted this software on the wrong platform." Then I think our purpose has been achieved.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version focuses on two chapters, the first chapter of "Starting the Internship", and the second chapter of the "Collaborative filtering" (feeling that we are discussing papers (LOL)) the basic game flow now will end here (good ending or bad Ending or end halfway through the game) We are still working hard to expand the number of chapters, the number of endings. And, more cats?”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As we continue to add content, I believe that by the time we end the Early Access status, the game has a new look. So we will try our best to give the players who are the first to experience and grow with us to have more benefits. So we will gradually increase the price with the increase of new content and new features. To make sure our first trys have this game in the best price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will actively listen to the voice of the community, to understand the community's expectations and suggestions for our "E-learning Development Intern", and then adjust the design and content of the following chapters. For example, we will refer to the community's feedback on “content difficulty”, "tutor image”, “game flow” and “interaction function”, and add elements that players want to have (for example the cat in our current version, it comes from one a tester's suggestion). We will hold regular suggestions collection and voting on certain elements through the community forum, and discuss relevant topics for each existing and subsequent chapters.”

About This Game

Wait, am I gaming?
No, you are learning...

'Elearning Development Intern' is a very casual simulation game where you will play as a new intern for an E-learning startup and experience very interesting (short/horrible/painful/ I want refund / annoying) internship life.
The game is full of randomness, so the customs clearance time is not equal.

Turn on your computer, have a cup of coffee, and work happily.
Read the materials, accept the guidance of the seniors and the test of the small BOSS.
Then I am promoted to a raise and go to life... you may have thought more.

Spoiler Warning: Although it is a technical post, you don't need any technical foundation at all.
Pain Warning: This game may contain hidden branches that force you to learn "joint probability matrix decomposition graph model", "binary differential evolution algorithm" and so on.
