About This Game

Fusing the methodical decisions of a turn-based strategy with the tactical depth of an RTS. Every turn determines humanity's fate in a war of Meaties vs the Machines.

In Mordfield Command, humanity is at its lowest, overrun and overruled by an AI algorithm that has seized control of Earth.  You are tasked with fortifying a stronghold, recapturing contested resources, and striking back against an enemy that holds the advantage. Victory is an uphill battle.

Remember to prioritize your build order, time your attacks, and exploit every opportunity available.  The goal is simple: reclaim control of the battlefield or be erased.

Relentless wave of attacks are on the horizon.

To survive, you’ll need more than walls. Expanding your command and recapturing resources to deny your enemy is critical to gaining the upper hand. 

Enemy reinforcements arrive in waves and only by keeping pace with the escalation can you hope to regain control.

Resources are scarce, and every scrap is contested.

An action point system lets you convert energy into additional actions, extending your reach and enabling powerful abilities when you need them most. 

As the war escalates, an evolving tech tree unlocks powerful defenses and countermeasures, giving you the edge in a brutal war of attrition.

Strike back by targeting enemy outposts and shutting down reinforcements before you're overwhelmed.

Timed Rounds — Keep the pressure on by enabling an optional 15 or 30 second turn timer.

Action Point Economy — Allocate action points at the expense of resources to maximize your tactical options each turn.

Expansive Technology Tree — Unlock new unit abilities, tactical tools, and economic upgrades as you progress through multiple tiers of research.

Custom Map Editor — Create your own battlefields and unique missions with an in-game map editor. Share your creations with the community and test different strategies on other player made creations.

PvP/Multiplayer — Challenge friends in tactical 1v1 combat. Play custom maps, change turn length, and assert your dominance in head-to-head gameplay.  Play using in-game procedural generated battlefields or custom player-made  ones.

Procedural Map Generation — Each play unfolds on a unique battlefield, keeping games fresh and unpredictable.

Evolving Terrain — Battlefields respond to combat and become damaged over time. Damaged areas become harder to traverse and modify offensive and defense bonuses, forcing players to adapt there strategy at every turn.

Combat Unit Experience — Meaty units grow stronger over time, earning experience on the battlefield. Deploying and maneuvering squads carefully allows players to create groups of elite fighters.

Replayability — An expanding technology tree, diverse units, varied terrain, and multiple resources—powered by procedural map generation—ensure no two runs play the same.
