“The open playtests showed us that the Reign of Guilds makes much more progress when we actively interact with the community and work with the feedback we receive. These include 8 settlements, 12 castles, a decent amount of PvE content, over 2000 game items, more than 800 quests, about 100 Vocation abilities, several types of crafting, and taxes paid to the castle owners.

We’ve come a long way to get to the current version of the game. It is a great result for our indie studio that during the open playtests our players spent 70k+ hours in the game, even despite the rather modest coverage.”

Reign of Guilds is a classic MMORPG set in the fantasy Dark Middle Ages. The game features:

In Reign of Guilds, you don't have to grow cabbage or mine ore with a pickaxe. What we value is a strategic approach and skillful interaction with other players. Character development is possible with any combination of PvE, Craft, and PvP.

CASTLE SIEGES AND MASSIVE BATTLES BETWEEN GUILDS
Guilds can capture castles. Castle owners can regulate the tax that players traveling nearby have to pay.
Castles are desirable targets and defending a castle from other guilds is not an easy task, only the strongest guilds can withstand it. Tough competition results in large-scale PvP battles between the players. Join an existing guild or try your luck and create your own.



FREE OPEN-WORLD PVP AND TRADE
Reign of Guilds has a large open world (1000 sq. km). In this huge world, one can never be safe while traveling alone and have to make friends for protection from its dangers. Or you might choose to become the danger yourself.

While cities offer security, you can never be safe from other players in the Open World. However, murdering other players lowers your karma making you a desirable target for headhunters. People with lower karma have more chances to drop money and items after death.

Gathering and processing of the resources are given in the hands of NPCs. All players have to do is collect the resources and transport them to economically advantageous places for processing. Under the condition of the open-world PvP, only organized groups will be able to ensure effective and secure transportation of the resources.



PVE PATH AND MACROECONOMIC GAME MECHANICS
Reign of Guilds has a self-balancing economy: NPC traders' prices react to the players' demand. It adds a lot of variability for players who choose the path of a merchant. In the simplest case, you can travel from an overpriced trader in a city to an underpriced one in a forest. In a more complicated one, you can help other players trade the loot obtained in different locations.
