“The features that we’ll be adding to the game over the next few months include:

“We start with 13 of 25 story missions. In this state you can play different maps types: Classic, PvP and Co-op (unlocks after 5th story mission), Maze (unlocks after 6th story mission). All game classes will be playable.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Our plan for now is to have the Early Access version cheaper than the full release. Both as a thank you to our testers and to reflect the amount of content that will be added during Early Access.”

Patch #1 for 1.04 version is here!

Hello there,

We made some changes in the code, so some of bugs when new missions won't start with Alternative Server setting. Also, it should resolve the problem, when the player finished the level and got no reward from it. Hope, it helps.

You could help us much. If something similar appears again - could you send us output_log file to Euler@battlecruiser.ru

It would make easier to find the real problem. Thanks in advance!

We have also fixed some bugs:
- Achievement for Astral level now works fine (kills with Dissecting Blow)
- Market (Treasurer skill) and items from the backpack now works fine
- Axe items (bonus wood reward) works properly now. Actually, they worked fine, there was wrong number in the reward window
- Amount of gold for achievement of Magic Gem is lowered from 40 to 35. So it is achievable now. Skill Bravery will be fixed later (it works on single missions now only)
- Fixed the bug in On The March survival achievements when magic kills wasn't counted
- Fixed the different achievement description for Old School Level
- When you start new mission there are no more animations of dead monsters of previous level

Major Update. Version 1.04 is here!

Hello there,

This December was really hard. Our programmer was sick all month. This is the second update in this month. It contains not so much stuff. But we tried to do our best.

First of all we added new co-op mission, Old School Map. It contains 40 simple waves and should remind you how first TD games looks like. There is only story mode for now. We will add challenge and survival mode in future patch. The last one will contain 100 waves. Let's see if you like it
If it is interesting, we will add - we will add more similar maps in future.

We finally fixed campaign rating. Wow, there are so many players who passed all 96 missions on Gold Start. We really appreciate you like the game.

We made several changes in skill system. We hope it will make all classes more competitive.

Balance Changes
  • Hammer of Gods. Damage increased from 35 to 55. Cost increased from 45 to 50
  • Lightning Sword. Costs increased from 30 to 35. Damage increased from 125 to 175. Now slows by 66% for 10 seconds.
  • Magic Chakram Damage 50 to 75. Now decreases armor by 5 for 10 seconds. Bounce distance +25%
  • Death Strike Slow increased 6 to 7. Overall damage increased from 90 to 210
  • Corrosive shells duration increased 7 to 15 seconds. Cost increased 35 to 40
  • Warcraft skills at 1 lvl requires more kills and less kills on 3 level
  • Mason timer improved from 125/75/35 to 110/65/30
  • Morale reduction changed from 2/4/6 to 3/5/10 and SP cost from 2/2/2 to 2/1/2
  • Stone Aura. Attack bonus increased from 0.85 to 0.8. Slows now by 33% (was 25%). Last 30 seconds, was 25. Bonus damage increased from +33% to +50%
  • Stone explosion. Base damage increased from 100 to 150. Level 3, Damage increased from 175 to 225. Armor reduction increased from 7 to 10. Area of effect reduced by 25%

  • Lightning damage increased from 70/85/105/125 to 70/90/115/145
  • Charge Boost damage increased from 3/6/10 to 5/12/20. Duration decreased from 12 to 7
  • Fireball damage increased from 40 to 50. Bonus of Level 3 increased from 15 to 25
  • Teleport. Base cooldown reduced from 20s to 15. Base distance of teleportation increased from 400 to 500. Level 2 gains +200% bonus of distance instead of 150%. Level 3 now decreases manacost by 80%
  • Storm. Manacost become 10/15/20 instead of 10/10/15. Base cooldown from 35 to 50.
  • Sorceress Level 1 costs 1 SP instead of 2
  • Wall of Fire damage decreased from 50 to 30. Base duration increased from 4 to 8 seconds
  • War Fire damage bonus increased from 25/50/75 to 30/60/100. Lasts 20 seconds now (was 15)
  • Manacost of Reduction on Level 3 increased from 15 to 20. Duration rescaled from 8/15/15 to 10/15/15
  • Penetration on Level 3 gives 40% ignore instead of 30%. P.s. if you have 10% ignore and the enemy have 20%. It means he will have only 10% resistance, not 18% (I don't know how to write it understandably)
  • Mana Juggler chance rescaled from 25%/35%/40% to 30%/40%/50%
  • Double Shoot cooldown rescaled from 25/17/11 to 18/12/7 seconds
  • Faerie Fire. Level 2 gives +35% duration instead of +50%. Base cooldown reduced from 25 to 30s
  • Thunderstorm Level 2. Number of lightnings +33% replaced with lightnings decreases armor by 4 for 8 seconds. Manacost changed from 45/50/55 to 40/50/60
  • Magic power now gives 0.75x damage to Electric beetle (was 0.5x). Bounces of electric beetle deals 100%. (they was decreased by 80% each shot previosly)

  • Money Power Level 3 now gives bonus per 45 gold (was 50)
  • Contract bonus recall time increased from 125%/250%/400% to 200%/400%/700% (note. Base recall time 5 seconds)
  • Brigade Level 3 increased from 4 to 5
  • Dividens rescaled from gold every 10 seconds to 9/8/7 seconds
  • Economy discount rescaled from 11%/22%/33% to 16%/33%/50%
  • Credit rescaled from 40/90/150 to 50/105/175
  • Marauder. Coins give 10 gold instead of 3. Mana gives 25 mana instead of 10. Potions lasts 60s instead of 20s. Trolls Summoning lasts 5 minutes instead of 2. Drop Chance decreased from 5% to 3%
  • Transmutation. Base cooldown reduced from 100s to 90s
  • Bomb spell damage increased from 55/65/100 to 75/85/125
  • Shop. SP cost changed from 2/2/2 to 2/1/1
  • Golden Rush. Cost changed from 10 to 10/15/25. Damage rescaled from +75%/+100% to +100%/+150%. Cooldown decreased from 30 to 60s

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the campaign rating
  • Fixed the bug with Treasurer skill. It didn't decreased the price of summoning units (worked only on upgrades)
  • Fixed wrong animations of Red and Black Bats as towers
  • Fixed %cnt symbols in achievements descriptions
  • Fixed some bugs in the tutorial of first missions

About This Game

A fearsome Chieftain is gathering an army, intent on the subjugation of the realm. The Villagers cry out for a hero! Someone to rise up and rescue them from their plight. This burden falls to you. Build a city, train an army, and equip your subjects. Seek out the assistance of helpful allies, such as dwarves, amazons, and sorceresses. With allies to help, and an army of your own, you can defeat the invading army and make the realm safe again!

  • 3 Vastly different Classes for you to choose from: Warlord, Sorcerer, and Treasurer. Over 70 different skills in all!
  • Diverse array of spells: Firewall, Lightning, Meteor Shower, Titan's Fist, Summon Elemental, Poisonous Cloud, Transmutation, and more! Only 4 spells can be brought into battle though, so choose wisely!
  • Multiple different game modes: Classic, Challenge, Survival, Maze, Hero Defense, Attack/Defend (Also used in PvP,) and Co-op missions throughout the campaign.
  • Upgrade Defenders in the workshop! Multiple upgrades with several tiers for each defender. More upgrades become available as you build and improve your town.


Unlike regular Tower Defense games, Warstone TD has a unique method of summoning defenders (towers). You start with a fairly empty map and a few stones where you can place defenders. As the level progresses, more stones appear and some even drop from enemies, allowing you to place them in any valid position on the map. Powerful Warstones also appear occasionally which give significant bonuses to defenders standing on them. You can summon any of the 5 basic defenders on the stones: Peasant, Archer, Rifleman, Sorceress, and Elemental. Each basic defender has its own upgrade path, damage type, gold cost, and special abilities!

Warstone TD also has 2 extra base units only available for use in attack/defense missions, the Eagle and the Wolf. Each have branching upgrade paths, like the basic defenders. With such a variety of defenders and game classes there is a huge amount of tactics in PvP battles, increasing replayability even further!

There are 30 story missions and each mission has 3 modes: Campaign, Challenge, and Survival. The player can choose the difficulty of each mission from 4 settings: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare. Each mode has a unique achievement which gives a star when completed, the color of the star corresponds to the difficulty of the mission: gold for Nightmare, silver for Hard, and bronze for Normal. Levels have a lot of possible solutions but, with so many combinations, you're going to need to perfect your strategy to master them. And just in case you forget how awesome you are, there's an online leaderboard, which tracks your score, both in Campaign mode and PvP. Compete with your friends, or enemies!

Class system

After you progress through the first 4 missions in the campaign, you are able to choose a class to augment your abilites in battle. The classes are non-linear, you can pick and choose skills from any class, but you have to focus on a class if you want to get the most powerful skills.
  • The Mighty Warlord greatly increases the effectiveness of your army! He improves the power and abilities of your defenders, can unleash the power of stone to help in battle; allowing placement of stones to slow nearby enemies, or give you a surge of mana and gold. He also has skills which allow your defenders to level up in battle, becoming more powerful with each successive rank.
  • The Cunning Treasurer's weapon is gold! He is a master of item storage, able to fit an improbably large number of items into his backpack, and find many more scrolls and even potions during battles. Everything he does is for gold! He is able to increase bounty for enemies killed, make his own defenders cheaper, and eventually can even get a powerful spell that allows you to transmute an enemy into pure gold! With all of these abilities, the Treasurer can field a much bigger army than any other class.
  • The Powerful Sorcerer is able to complete levels using only spells! He can bring up to eight spells into battle, increasing flexibilty greatly. His skills revolve around buffing spell effectiveness, regenerating mana, unlocking more powerful spells, and he can even transform units into mana. Among the spells the sorcerer can unlock are: Summon Elemental, Reduction; which shrinks and debuffs monsters, Meteor Shower, and Teleportation; which allows you to teleport defenders to any available stone on the map.
