What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The team made a blood pack to stay drunk for the entire development process and we are now starting to think it wasn't such a good idea. Sure it was fun at first but now Fred has been kicked out of his house. Eric has turned yellow. And David is having trouble sitting up straight.

Things are getting sloppy. Our room space has literally grown over the last month because we keep on punching holes in the drywall.

If we don't release this game quick, there won't be a building or team left to complete it.

Although we haven't had the time to put in all the content and polish yet, the game is already fun to play.

We are releasing early to elicit community feedback on which features and improvements they would like us to prioritize.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We will be in Early Access for approximately two months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We want to hear from the community what features they would like to see in the game. We would like to build that they game that they want to play with friends. Features under evaluation are: more destructible environments, additional weapons, additional opponents, multiplayer, mobile spectator mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is not a deep experience. It was designed to be a party game where friends take turns. You can complete the game in under 20 minutes. However, it is very easy to pick up and play. The game has a lot of replayability due to the IK system and hidden discoverables. But above all, it is really fun. Each person who has played it has audibly laughed multiple times. Maybe it is a guilty laugh for smashing a unsuspecting bar patron in the head with a bottle; maybe it is an evil laugh from sticking a dart in someone's back but often it is a laugh from feeling powerful when they smash a character across the room and through a plate glass window.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will be discounted during Early Access. We would really like hear from the community what features they would like added or enhanced before we officially release it.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be leveraging the game's Steam Community to interface and collect feedback from our customers. We are primarily interested in getting as much community feedback as possible so we can make the game even better.”

Welcome Rift Players!

Please take the time to review our short and informative Player's Guide: http://steamcommunity.com/app/528550/guides/

Although we try to support room scale, you might have a better experience standing in one place and using the directional sticks to move around. It is easier for the game to track your hands when you are facing the sensors. It will also reduce your chances of punching outside the play area.

We are in early access and are still working hard to improve the game. Please help us with feedback, especially if you have an issue. You can let us know your thoughts here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MTSQ69Q

Huge response to survey!! Great ideas so far and most of them are obtainable! Please keep them coming! We are getting close to enough but I think we can get a couple more in. I will post results this weekend. We have already started working on the Jukebox and Tip Jar.
