Hello, let me say right off the bat I have loads of experience with this game and having said that lets get into the review. First off i'd like to say that the graphics of this game are okay at best they could be a lot better but this increases performance obviously, they are good enough to get the job done. Also the audio, the audio is good i'd say better than the graphics in its own catagory I also very much enjoy the music by the instruments. Now the mechanics, they are pretty good for a video game such as this, they aren't shooting for realism very much but just overall performance and they work great in my opinion and are very skill based you can tell the difference between a noob and a experienced player for sure. I've had my fair share of amazing games and some terrible games while playing this but overall this game has reshaped my gaming experience for sure in a good way.

> Join a RP Server
> Be a Prussian Freikorps Soldier
> Shout "Für König und Vaterland!" at the beginning of the round
> Get in Line with your fellow soldiers and follow the freikorps officer
> Freikorps officer orders to line up and shoot the enemy
> Aim directly at the enemy and miss every shot, because rifles are unprecise as ♥♥♥♥
> Freikorps officer orders to charge, although your team is outnumbered, but you follow him anyway because he is your officer and you HAVE TO FOLLOW HIS ORDERS AT EVERY COST!
> Press C for "GOTT SCHÜTZE DEN KAISER"
> Get epic feeling and really think you can win this
> immediately get stabbed by an baguette with his bayonette and die
> Have to wait 8 minutes until the end of the round
> chat with your dead teammates in dead people chat

18/10 would follow my officer again

Realistic Game, playable musicians, and accurate weapons. No singleplayer though if you are expecting that kind of thing.

One of the best mods I have ever played, immense amounts of fun. It appears this is what killed the native servers, so Napoleon actually has a decent amount of active players. Much more fun and engaging than the native game, but thats just my opinion (I'm very bias towards historical shooters).

Incredible game, would recommend highly over the other mods, despite a lack of singleplayer campaign.

PS. Don't play on Minisiege, it's the worst video game server I have ever seen. I was permabanned for saying the word "sharpshooter", not an ounce of exaggeration. The server owner and admins are easily the most sensitive and easily triggered individuals I have ever had the mispleasure of playing with online.

My second or third match ever.

There was an artillery breach on the fort walls.

The enemy was shooting everything that went through.

Allies were hesitating to go in.

I had a drum.

Started playing and walked calmly into the breach.

Everyone follows me, guns ablaze and bayonets fixed.

Some guy comments on chat: "this drummer is really an inspiration, standing his ground and playing amidst all the bullets"

Everyone on my team gets murdered around me.

I'm the only one left, still playing the drums in a corner.

An enemy flautist joins me on the concert at the corner.

We played for two minutes while everyone murdered each other around us.

We died at the end.

-10/10 Go buy this game, now.

This is an incredible experience, 200 player sieges with destructible environment. Slowly pushing into the fort by blowing up walls and building defences to cover your attack. Oh and most importantly you can play the flute.

EDIT: Thanks to this DLC my playtime is now nearing 600hours, great value for money. Especially considering it goes on sale rather cheap.
