About This Game

ABYSSAL BLADE is a 2D, pixel-art "strategic" boss rush inspired by difficult mechanics in high-level MMORPG raids like FFXIV Savage, WoW Mythic, and Lost Ark Legion Raids.

You awaken in the void, burdened by grief. At last, you find the strength to rise—but the path ahead won’t be easy: you only have 1 HP. Take up your blade and break free from the abyss.

JOURNEY TO DEFEAT GRIEF

Face five distinct bosses, each embodying Kübler-Ross’s stages of grief—Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. Each encounter explores a different emotional struggle, reflected through unique mechanics and gimmicks.

SURVIVE MERCILESS BOSS FIGHTS

Bosses take direct inspiration from high-level MMORPG raids, featuring cast bars, telegraphed AOEs, and puzzle-like mechanics that force you to think outside of the box and act decisively.

OPTIMIZE YOUR DAMAGE

The Wanderer generates mana with every strike, unleashing a full gauge to enter a brief burst window of rapid, high-damage attacks. Time your bursts carefully to deal maximum damage when openings appear!
