In addition to the six Mega Man games, Mega Man Legacy Collection features new ways to experience the classic games with the Museum Mode and new Challenge Mode. Mega Man Classics Return

Mega Man classics are very difficult if you own the NES cartridges, but this version can make it significantly easier. This is why: You can save states, therefore you can save before challenging parts and keep all of your lives and ammo. I don't think there should be shame. Unless you are hardcore about these games, I would justify wanting to enjoy the game.

My Xbox 360 controller works on these games, I haven't experienced any lagging or problems running it. It seems smooth to me. You can even play this game with a screen filter to make it look like an old television. This is worth trying out if Mega Man classics spark your interest. If you have software difficulties, don't play for more than 2 hours and get a refund within 2 weeks.

Own all 6 cartridges, but my NES is broken, so I got this.

It's everything I love about Megaman, right up to the tendency for Quick Man's stage giving me an Aneurism

First game i've ever returned on Steam out of the near 200 that I own. So many people have had a problem with getting this game to start or they're praying that it does work. I'm a big Megaman fan, but when the game can't even start correctly for the vast majority of players and you need to employ your own fixes to get the game working, something's wrong.

I can't reccomend a purchase for Mega Man Legacy Collection for one reason, THEY KEPT THE NES HARDWARE LIMITATIONS. If you didnt mind this in the 80's then go for it, but if youre like me and was hoping all those hardware limits would be gone your outta luck.

Like most other people I bought it to show Capcom I have interest in the series.

It's Megaman 1-6 with some neat features added in like TV filters and an improved save system. The challenge system is somewhat amusing but just uses existing pieces from previous games. This would have been a lot better had 7-10 been included along with the arcade games.

The art galleries and instruction manuals are neat for the hardcore fan. But there's few things here you can't get with emulation.

Get it if you want to show Capcom your support or to have the convenience of Megaman on Steam. It's not a must-have though.

Personally, I've been clammering for a new Mega Man game from Capcom after Keji Inafune left. So, with this collection of probably some of the most loved platformers of the late 80's and early 90's. Even though this is less than the Mega Man Anniversary Collection these games have never looked better compared to the other collection's muddy pixels and delayed controls. The new challenges are also extremely fun as well. All in all, this was a great way to bring back the Blue Bomber from the dead and to give you a fun gameplay experince with challenging and fair gameplay.

Holy hell i love megaman.
Never, no other game give me such love and headache at the same time.
The port is good for me at least.
Theres a bunch of reviews saying things like:
"Noticeable input lag" or "Frequent crashes"
For me, none of these are really true, only a little and annoying FPS drop but not too much to worry about.
Well, i love get 1 - 6 pack megaman games with the original soundtracks and concept arts, so for these features, i really recommend this game.

Been waiting on this for awhile, so I was really disappointed when I finally got it. Faithful to the console version in looks, but the controls are so sluggish that it makes the game practically unplayable. This is a precision jumper platformer. The controls move like Mega Man is on ice all the time. Not cool.
Refund requested.
