About This Content

The Expansion Pass secures your access to two epic adventures set in the vibrant world of monster hunter Geralt of Rivia.

Hearts of Stone will take Geralt on an all-new 10-hour adventure into the wilds of No Man’s Land and the nooks and alleys of Oxenfurt, where he’ll try to complete a contract from the mysterious Man of Glass. Caught in a thick tangle of deceit, Geralt will need all his cunning and strength to solve the mystery and emerge unscathed.

Blood and Wine, a 20-hour tale that will introduce the all-new in-game region of Toussaint, will take Geralt to a land untainted by war, where an atmosphere of carefree indulgence and knightly ritual masks an ancient, bloody secret.

Both expansions will offer gamers new content, gear and foes, and will feature characters both new and dearly missed -- all crafted with maximum attention to detail and quality.

Hearts of Stone is already available, while Blood and Wine is slated for release in the first half of 2016.

Most of the time, an expansion pass is nothing more than a money grab; a few new skins, a 10 minute story, a new weapon or item you'll use for 5 minutes before you wonder why you ever bought it.

This is the exact opposite. You'll wonder how you got so much for so little. New items, a new map, new enemies, hours and hours of new content all holding up to the lofty standards the vanilla game set. It's really amazing how well done both these expansions are, how organically they fit in with the rest of the game. And with the "New Game +" feature, you can keep all these new items and skills and other goodies you get and use them in another playthrough.

This adds well over 30 hours to the game, with amazing quality and content.

When other devs release games the games feel like dlc, when CDPR releases a dlc it feels like a full game.

Highest honors.

The guys over at CDPR worked hard on the Witcher 4, then someone accidentally pushed the wrong button and released it as DLC.
