I love.. this game so much. I was just browsing some other titles and saw that there was a DLC.

I will provide an updated review in the future, but I will say this.

The little stories from each of the other characters you interact with are just amazing. I think it was the story of the demon lord, the princess, and the half demon girl that really got to me and I think I recall crying a bit. It was that profound to me.

Worth it, I mean I have 200 hours playing this...
This DLC actually adds more fun to it...
More jokes, more stories, and succubuses after 2k mark that will use magic to take your armor off...
Jokes aside they did boost the amount of mobs, gave them abilities, and made them recruitable to fight against other mobs :3

At first I was disappointed because I thought the game only went up to 30FPS and it felt really weird to me, but then I realized you can switch between 15/30/60 FPS by pressing F4.

Anyway, this is a very good expansion for a very good game. It adds a lot of cool new items and graphics to the game that I would have never thought I needed. Scrolls that create a bridge through difficult terrain, many different potions and effects, improving the starting castle. This expansion is worth it.

Basically an expansion over the original, that adds a lot more variety, quality of life and new content to enjoy with new classes and old alike. It even lets you opt to play the original version if you want to go back too, which is pretty awesome. I could write a really long laundry list of reasons why it's worth your money, but honestly I only think I need to mention one. I'm going to assume you're here because you like and/or love One Way Heroics, and wanted to know if this worth the price tag. It -absolutely- is, even as full price.

This essentially turns the original OWH into a demo, although it was a demo that I spent around 20 hours on without seeing everything.

There is significantly more content in this expansion than the original game, justifying the higher price, so you can play the cheap version to see if you like it, then get all the extra stuff when the base game starts losing it's appeal.

An awesome DLC. It balances stuff that didn't work too well in the base game, and added a enormous amount of new stuff. Great job to the dev.

Don't be alarmed by the fact that the price is high compared to the original, which frequently goes on sale for under a dollar. This DLC tweaks some imbalanced aspects of the first, adds some much-appreciated interface modifications and quality-of-life shortcuts, and varies the content enough to make the game feel fresh and exciting again. The original, for a dollar, was and still is an absolute steal, but it's certainly worth 6 more, if nothing else to reward the developer for consistantly delivering.

One Way Heroics Plus adds on to the first one.

First off, let me say this: any item in your dimensional vault from the regular version might be affected. Specifically the weapons and armor with buffs on them. So be prepared to lose those wonderful buffs. Also the scrolls that add those random buffs are gone in this version.

Don't let that hold you back, though. The scrolls now have buff names on them when you pick them up, or buy them, in the world.

The dimensions also have new content. This means that dark brotherhood you liked so much in the regular version to get stuff from may be gone and in exchange there might be just a patch of grass.

In exchange there is more places to see such as Coasts, caves and the beast country(with their own types of NPC's).

There are three new classes and these cannot be unlocked by your normal means. They have to be quested to obtain. In order to get these quests you need to expand your castle and place the quest givers in your castle. In order to do that you need a new type of currency that you can only get by finding them off of monsters, from stores, and from completing whichever objective you want in the main quest.

In the regular version all you can do is just walk. Sprinting is the same as walking because everything moves the same pace. In plus you can speed reality up so everything moves a whole lot faster. This is very, very good because walking to 2kKM was a long trek even for walking.

Lastly, I want to say more allies! Two more from what I've found. One is a good protector and the other one has a GUN! But the gun is more of a force weapon than anything else.

Nevertheless the game is just as fun and the new content makes it a whole lot better. I recommend getting this game.

I bought the base OWH at -80% discount and that was indeed a great game for a price under a dollar. If you notice it, the price of this DLC is so high compared to the base game but it still worth the money. This DLC features more improvements , balancements, more items, more NPCs, new battle system, and more. OWH and OWH Plus have a slightly different system so some items in the dimensional vault in your base OWH will be affected (converted) and the save data in base OWH can't be used on OWH:Plus (the save data, not the game progress).

By buying this DLC you will get:
+ New Classes, items, NPCs, enemies, skills, and more
+ Castle renovations and quests
+ More keys like shortcut and the acceleration key
+ Even better HUD and systems (food rottening, and so on)
+ More allies including packhorse, packrabbit, a cow, and more
- I don't know why but the 'steam overlay' didn't work when playing (maybe they will fix this later)

If you like the base OWH, you will like this even more (man, it's a plus version!).

(This is written under the assumption the reader has played / has knowledge of One Way Heroics (base game)).

If you played One Way Heroics and thought "I want more" this is your godsend.
(Heck it's my godsend, when my brother told me that this existed I flipped out and patiently awaited the steam release for months).

More classes, companions, endings, items, stategies. MORE EVERYTHING!!

My only warning is that to enjoy the extended content, you must also enjoy the base game, if you don't like the base game, buying this isn't going to change your opinion (probably).

This DLC adds a really nice amount of content.
The hotkeys for skills and items is a welcome addition, and there's now a fast moving feature so clearing runs that you don't quite want to invest a whole lot into goes by very fast.

There's new NPCs, there's a new castle expansion system, there's new skills, perks, items, and even new classes.

Considering I know just about none of you purchased this game at full price, this DLC's price point is a bit high (around 3 times more than what I paid for the base game.) but it is definitely worth the money.

I highly recommend this if you enjoyed the base game.

One Way Heroics Plus is the definition of what an expansion pack should be. From simple quality of life changes such as auto-turning to face nearby enemies or a new hotbar, to entirely new biomes, explorable dungeons, character classes, equipment, and more.

This expansion is just, very well made. Hell, the other night I was about to be consumed by the darkness when I got cornered up against a mountain, only to throw out a magic bridge that punched straight through the mountain and gave me a path to freedom. I then went on the punch everything to death, and rammed my fist through the Demon Lord's chest.

Seriously. Get. This. Expansion.

I honestly only bought this because I only spent less than a dollar on the original game, which is amazing. I'm glad I did. The DLC really only adds to a game which by itself is close to perfect. It's the perfect example of what an "expansion" could be. It adds and adds good stuff that you didn't even know you missed in the original. Definitively recommended, especially after playing the vanilla game for a while.
