About This Game

Welcome back to the new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza!

In Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the old and aging animatronics are joined by a new cast of characters. They are kid-friendly, updated with the latest in facial recognition technology, tied into local criminal databases, and promise to put on a safe and entertaining show for kids and grown-ups alike!

What could go wrong?

As the new security guard working nights, your job is to monitor cameras and make sure nothing goes wrong after-hours. The previous guard has complained about the characters trying to get into the office (he has since been moved to day-shift). So to make your job easier, you've been provided with your very own empty Freddy Fazbear head, which should fool the animatronic characters into leaving you alone if they should accidentally enter your office.

As always, Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for death or dismemberment.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a point-and-click, horror survival game created by Scott Cawthon. And is the second game in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. The player plays as Jeremy Fitzgerald, as opposed to Mike Schmidt from the first game. It features six brand new animatronics as well as heavily damaged versions of the original five from the first game. Unlike the first game, there are no doors to close, instead, the player must put on a Freddy Fazbear mask to avoid being killed by most of the animatronics.

As in the first game, the player must survive a night shift at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, from 12 A.M. to 6 A.M. without being attacked by any of the animatronics. The player cannot leave the security office, but can track the animatronics' movements via a network of surveillance cameras placed throughout the building. The office has three entrances, a hallway and two side air vents, in a departure from the previous game, none of these can be sealed off to block enemies from entering. Each vent is equipped with a light that can be used to check for any characters that are about to crawl into the office. The player can put on a mask to ward off approaching animatronics, however, this strategy will not work on certain characters, who must be repelled by other means. A flashlight is also available, used to check the hallway and darkened areas of the camera feeds, as well as to reset certain animatronics. The flashlight does not have an infinite battery life, if it runs out, the player becomes vulnerable to attack. In addition, a music box has been placed in one room and must be remotely wound up through the camera interface, to avoid being attacked by an additional animatronic that appears when the music stops.

Unlike the first game, after the player is killed, there is a chance that rather than the Game Over screen one of four 8-bit mini-games will appear. These mini-games contain insight into the lore of the game series.

Some people might not like the new animatronics as opposed to the “Weathered” Older ones.
(I personally like Toy Chica, Mangle, BB and the Puppet), but the game is as good as ever. 10/10

It's probably the best FNaF there is. I'm not saying the other ones suck, but this one is very enjoyable.

Pros:
1: Not boring
2: Woo, Toy Bonnie has a tail!
3: Balloon Boy is my favorite! Don't judge me, I'm a weirdo.
4: Pretty hard
5: Worth the money

Cons:
1: I can't get past Night 3.
2: Some animatronics crash your game.

Honestly, these games aren't bad. It's the community however, that is my problem. I've had several terrible experiences involving FNaF fans, and turned me from liking the games. I went ahead and purchased the full bundle, and played all of them through. And I did enjoy it actually. Don't hate the game, hate the players.

This game, a sequal to the popular Five Nights at Freddy's, came out only 3 months after the first game! Now of course what this game does is do what any sequal should, take the formula that made it what it is, and add onto it, and this game does certainly that, adding more animatronics, mechanics and overall more stuff to worry about. What I like about this game is that what I said earlier, it adds onto it's formula. Now I'll admit, the first game had it's sounds and setting to keep you tensed but not alot really happens until you get to Night 4, 5 and 6. The 4/20 mode is the only thing that allows things to be constant, for you to always be on your guard 100% to try and not die. But overtime, the mode is so hard that you just get frustrated overtime, overall losing that feeling of fear to always be on your guard, turning into a feeling of just being tired and wanting to beat it for completion. The second game however, improves on that. By adding more stuff to do, to worry about, it increases the feeling of uneasiness and tenseness, even on the first night! Not to mention how much this game added onto the hidden backstory by adding more easter eggs and details about the company's past. Now, before I end this review, I want to talk about my one complaint..it's jumpscares. The jumpscares in the first game, they were decent, they were alright. It made you feel like they actually were in your face and were somewhat of a threat. But..in the second game..it just feels, well, kinda forced. With most of them just jumping out nowhere onto your face. In the first game, it felt like they were waiting for you to pull down the camera to strike. In the second game, they just, *pop* and go *boo!* But overall, I liked this game and thought it did an ok job of going forward and advancing it's formula. I recommend this game to anyone who liked the first one and are interested.
