Sniper Elite 4 launches this year!

We’re delighted to announce the next game in the 10 million selling Sniper Elite series is launching this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

https://youtu.be/yxcBxyt1r-I
Set in the immediate aftermath of its award-winning predecessor, Sniper Elite 4 continues the series’ World War Two heritage by transporting players to the beautiful and diverse environments of Italy in 1943.

Covert agent and elite marksman Karl Fairburne must fight alongside the brave men and women of the Italian Resistance to help free their country from the yoke of Fascism, and defeat a terrifying new threat with the potential to halt the Allied fightback in Europe before it’s even begun.

If his mission fails, there will be no Operation Overlord, no D-Day landings, and no Victory in Europe.

I am a big fan of the Call of duty:Zombies franchise but this games is a huge step up from all of that. I would personally say it may be as good as Resident Evil, although very different gameplay of course Zombie Army Trilogy is a cut above the rest.

Haha time to kill nazi zombies. With the way the difficulty settings work (one setting controls aiming and general difficulty while another controls number of enemies) you can have fun on your own or with friends without compromising on gameplay either way.

Maps are pretty linear though; definitely not a lot of exploring to do outside of trying to find the hidden items in each level, and your character can't jump unless there's a small wall to vault over.

As others have said this is a combination of sniper elite and l4d2. and i honestly think it sucks!
now before i get raged on let me state my pros and cons.
pros:
1.AMAZING sniper interface, talking all out, full details like wind, gravity, distance, timing, ALL that goodness comes into play!
2.beautiful, this game looks absolutly amazing! the art is beautiful and you can REALLY feel the atmosphere!
3.MANY differnt sniper choices, with their own designs.
4.character selection is crazy big, doesn't matter much but hey its neat!
5.Kill shots, love that gruesome kills!seeing bullets fly through an enemy is simply the best!

CONS:
EVERYTHING ELSE!
you took sniper elite, a top notch sniper game if not THEE BEST, and l4d2, an amazing multiplayer thats all run and gun and mated them. Normally, you would think this is a great idea! But you see... snipers aren't meant to be on the front lines! Play ANY other game with sniping, if the sniper is leading the charge he is a BAD sniper and is going to get you and your team killed! scouting is one thing, but taking on the army by yourself? thats just not what snipers DO! snipers are supposed to sit back and hide and take out enemies 1 by one. I am not a sniper elite fan persay, but from what i HAVE seen of their other games, THATS EXACTLY WHAT YOU DO! you have a mission, you plan out your attack, you take out the enemies or you defend the objective FROM A DISTANCE, so on so forth. But taking on an army while front and center? thats MADNESS for a sniper!
You can't even HIDE from the zombies or retreat to higher vantage. soon as they spawn, the zombies KNOW where you are and they are heading right for your ♥♥♥! whats a poor loan sniper to do?
oh so this is where the multiplayer comes in? So lets forget for the moment that the reason most people like being a sniper is being the loner taking enemies out from a distance with prejudice.
this is where left4dead kicks in, having multiple allies being gun happy running around and shooting right?
you are still a god damned sniper! your main gun throughtout the game is a sniper, you have the best use of SNIPERS as a gun. you and all the people you play with will be trying to get their aim straight as the zombie hoards are coming at you! and given this has left4dead's enemy engine, the difficulty ramps up with more people. more zombies possibly faster and stronger coming at you for god damn everywhere! and you are still sniping! or maybe you went to oh ♥♥♥♥ mode and brought out your secondary or hand gun, well guess what you burn through that ammo like its nothing! with such limited ammo and so many enemies that could and DO spawn in behind your back as you are shooting a kamakazi running at you, YOU WILL DIE! oh and ammo? sure you can get more! if you can find a random stash the game makers set up for you. whats that? allies took all your ammo? well you can try to pick some up off the enemies you just killed. oh wait their bodies disapear. most the time within SECONDS of you kill them. so have fun rushing to a downed enemy to grab ammo before its gone only to have it revive if you didn't head shot it because another zombie was at your back and you had to MOVE! even if you DID head shot it hey, you dont have time to pick that up, because another KAMIKAZI IS RUNNING AT YOU WTF!?!?!
now the explosives they give you do help with this a bit, gives you some distance and time if you decide to hold up somewhere. but then you end up trapping yourself 9 times out of 10 and if there is just a massive wave of enemies coming at you (like in the very first level when you activate the skull) holding up in the building is possibly the hardest thing you can do. you only have so many traps you can set which will be set off first thing something crosses it depending on what it is. honestly i found the tnt useless, you have to throw it and then shoot it. you are better off just using the standard nade, even if the damage radius is bigger. and forget using your sniper as a standard non-sniping gun. your aim will be off and your damage nerfed. its just not worth it to use it for anything but headshots!
and yes, i only have 3.4 hours on this game, i honestly rage quit after the tanky elite zombie in the second map popped up, took 8 shots to the head and as i ran away i was killed.
Ive seen some guys use the pop and run style while playing this game. (shoot maybe 2-3, run away, 2 more shots, run past them, few more shots, so on so on) but running past the enemy shouldnt be what snipers DO. they should be able to sit back and pick them off maybe relocate when things get dicey, but there just isnt enough time to do that when the enemy always knows where you are! im sure plenty of people beat this game, im sure plenty of people LOVE it. and im also sure there are some super sniping pro guys other there that just don't get what i am complaining about. But thats just it, if this game was made ONLY for the TRUE sniper elite fans who can handle this ♥♥♥♥ with no problem, i don't see how they would ever make money on this game! yeah its a partial remake, but zombies and sniping with no real time to do so? with no place to hide or run? to always be backed into a corner and have to rush for safety past the enemies?
Thats just....not a sniping game.

TL:DR?
don't buy it unless you have friends you KNOW will play with you. Otherwise you will be a zombie in a minefield.

I really like the game's graphics, gameplay and well, everything else.
You really have to play this game with friends to enjoy it- the difficulty is hard even on easy, but it's not that hard when you have 1 to 3 friends by your side.
Remember- You get the first and the second Zombie Army game in this game, so do not bother buying them.

There are 15 episodes in the story mode and 5 stages in the hoard mode. You can play them all with other players using internet. Shooting system is very good, graphic is also good. I want to say the contents of this game is totally great but the original price of it is too expensive for me. I'd recommend you'll get it on sale, otherwise you'll think it isn't enough for you. Enjoy your gaming life.

Zombie Army Trilogy is a combination of Left 4 Dead and Sniper Elite.

Your goal is simply to kill your way through hordes of zombies to get to the next waypoint, but it's really a lot of fun with up to 4 players co-op. You really have to aim your shots well against the zombies because they will only effectively die if you hit them in the head.

I've had Nazi Zombie Army 1 and 2 in my library for a couple of years and I always really liked them. They were great games. How incredibly disappointed I was when I bought this pile of crap. For some idiotic reason they decided to make the guns so much less effective in this version. Even a direct head hit won't always be a kill. The submachine guns are almost useless against them. You have to hit them several times in the head to kill them, negating the usefulness smgs had in large hordes or for when you got cornered by a group. You don't carry enough ammo to make the smg worth even having anymore.

The original 2 still kick a55 but the Trilogy is not worth bothering with. The novelty of being able to choose a character from L4D doesn't really make up for it. And it would be nice to be able to play the third chapter but the screwed over gameplay has removed any interest in bothering with it.

This release sucks. I'm pi55ed I was duped into paying for it. I'm glad it was on special

You get to raid Dracula's castle and fight giga Hitler after beating the crap out of zombies in Berlin TWICE. Episode 3 is by far the best of the three. Rebellion knew what they were doing. Playing with people online is a real treat. Plus, you can play as any survivor from the left 4 dead series for free. Sure, it doesn't have the same voice actors but hey, other games would charge you as DLC to play as them. A great game to get. Bought it on sale for 30 bucks. Definitely has my vote.

Left 4 Dead and Sniper Elite got married and Zombie Army Trilogy was born! A nice combination of the two styles of the game, not as intense as L4D and not as sneaky as Sniper Elite, fight your way through hordes of zombies (and other monsters) to the next waypoint or supply room, best done in co-op mode (100 times better than solo). Would recommend for an evening of light amusement with friends!
