A game that started as a really good concept which turned into a really good beta which turned into a really good game that is technically finished but is still being updated. It is really ♥♥♥♥ing great for what it is which is basically metal slug but with all of the most bro movie characters.

What can I say? It's AWESOME. The feels of just doing anything want, blowing up everything in your path, having the feel that you don't have anything that blocks your path as long as you just blow it up. Fast paste action game, with tons of america heroes such as Chuck Norris and Will smith and so many more! This is a living game which doesn't get boring after some time. I recommand you to buy this game, play it when you have somewhat a boring day because this will wake your day up!

Hyper-realistic WW2 simulator. I strongly recommend for any Anti-Sematic indivisual of German heritage who would like to expirience the same euphoria of cleansing all of Europe as those who did in the golden ages of 1940's.

Let me tell you this:
This game is pure, unadulterated chaos, randomness, and destruction. And fun. CRAZY FUN.
A "sequel" (?) to Free Lives' "The Expendabros", the game supports online multiplayer as well as local multiplayer (so you could invite a couple friends over, connect a few controllers, and bro on.

I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TRY OUT "The Expendabros" before you buy. It's free on Steam. Also, the space you need for it is tiny and has generally quite similar gameplay.

If you liked it, Broforce is essentially an upgrade, which 30+ characters (as of now) and allows you to host online games without setting up complicated servers with 3rd-party software, and you can even play with random people you meet who have hosted public servers with no password. If you just want to play with your friend, then you can set a password and a custom name so you can find each other.

If there's a few things that holds me back from giving this game a 10/10, it's the gamemodes. Although, for some reason, a friend and I have no problem just replaying the game over and over and still having fun, some people may find it repetitive, and after you beat the normal, hard, and ironbro campaigns, there isn't really much variety.

NOTE: The "versus" gamemodes (including Deathmatch, Race, and MIx) is multiplayer, but ONLY LOCAL. You cannot host a "Versus" game online, only locally with your friends.

That said, I strongly recommend the game if you like plain, no-frills (there IS a story, but it's really only there for humor's sake), dumb humor run-and-gun games. I don't know, just get the damn game. It's good. I promise.

I love this game it is great and i just wanted to submit some ideas for new bros;
Luke Skybrolker: Normal: Lightsaber
Melee: Fists
Special: Makes the mooks on screen implode by using the force

Vincent Broga: Normal: Revolver ( kinda like brocketeer )
Melee : Stabs mooks with a syringe
Special: Explosive "royal with cheese" ( a bit like MacBrover's turkey )

Brotman: Normal: Fists
Melee : Hits mooks on the head to "knock them out" ( but they're dead )
Special: Throws unlimited "Brotarangs" ( Just like Bro Max )

And maybe some Brorror movie villains but i don't really have ideas for those.

Terrorists. Alien swarms. The risen undead from Hell. Evil must be Americanized, and that's all there is to it.

Broforce is a pillar of unprecidented fun and action that is hard to find in modern couch co-op games. Currently in the world PC gaming, not too many titles exist that offer this kind of instant action and variety in a local 1-4 player setting. Broforce in particular is unique, in that really anyone can jump in and figure out how to play instantly. Blow up bad guys and the landcapes they terrorize, with a huge variety of unique action heroes from all the classic action movies you grew up watching.

Broforce is well optimized. It looks and plays great on a decent tv in big picture mode.

The action is non stop. The bood and gore is over the top. The gameplay gets heavier and more difficult as you progress. The variety in gameplay changes on a whim as you blast through evil and rescue more Bros. Best of all, there is no story or narrative to skip through: just jump in and play over some hi-fives and a 12 pack with your friends. If you have no friends, you can still have fun playing single player, or join a session online.

I've played all the AAA titles, I've bought into the hype of overpriced games that never delivered. Broforce is one of the only games in my huge library that I expect to continue playing for the foreseeable future with my friends and family. The entertainment value you get here for $15.00 is just staggering.

Also worth noting, my wife never played video games in the six years we've been together. She probably has most of the over 100 hours already in this game at the time of writing. The fact that she is now obsessed with this game means that anyone can play this and have fun.

A must buy for anyone who considers themselves a gamer at any level of enthusiasm.

If you are somebody who loves retro graphics, and side scrolling shooters like Gunstar Heroes for Sega Genesis then this game is for you. A little chaotic with more than one person on screen, but a literal blast playing through this one. Great gameplay, awesome soundtrack, and you always look forward to unlocking your next bro. I originally got this for free on PS4 and as soon as I built my PC, I bought it right away! Hopefully there will be a sequel :D

A fun idea and a game worth playing. After playing the Expendabros I got the full version, and it was pretty good. I enjoyed playing it on long rides because unlike Team Fortress 2 or CS-GO, you don't really need WIFI to play, so it's good for long rides to places or whereever you want to play.

It's just a fun world that people who like 2-D shooters will enjoy. My only real 'nitpick' was that there were not very many bro characters. How about Leonarbro, like Leonardo from TMNT? Or Broffy the vampire slayer? Or how about Bro Wick? Maybe update it and add some cool new bros. I think Broforce gets a 8/10.

You love side-scrolling action games? You love 80's action movies and their badass protagonists? You love old-school movie clichés where the US fights for justice and liberty all over the world, opposing terrorists, dictators, and evil? If so, then this game is for you! After finishing it on every difficulty level and getting every single achievement, this game turned me into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ed sexual tyrannosaurus. Other symptoms include: turning you into an american patriot from a non-american, becoming as strong as a bodybuilder, etc.

But humor aside, this game is really good, almost perfect for what it is. The gameplay is simple: you have a world map, which shows you where the bad guys are. You fly to places, kick ♥♥♥, blow up stuff, whatever. There are multiple missions, and you can select which one you want to play. These missions have about 5-6 levels, and (except for the beginning) the last level ends with a boss fight. You always start the level with a random bro (right now, there are 35; they are all based on action movie heroes, and the devs add new ones from time to time), and the goal is to get to the end, kill Satan (yes, Satan), and get to the chopper. At first, you have only one bro, but the more prisoners you rescue, the more bros you will unlock.

About the bros: they are all different, with their own strengths and weaknesses, and they all have their own special ability. There is no useless bro; it depends on how you approach a situation. For example: the first bro you get is Rambro, who is (what a suprise) based on Rambo. He has a machine gun, a knife, and he can throw grenades. He is perfect for moving down enemies directly in front of him, but bigger enemies can pose a problem. Or you might get MacBrover, who can throw or attach bombs to his enemies, but his attacks are slow and only work in a short distance, But maybe you'll get Snake Broskin, who has silenced machine guns, and is able to get to places unnoticed, using unorthodox methods. You get the idea. There are also some female bros, and they all kick ♥♥♥. Most bros die from one shot, but rescued prisoners act as lives. You rescue a prisoner, and it will turn into a random bro you've unlocked. Your bro dies, another takes its place instantly, as long as you have lives. After you finish the level, you regain all your lost bros. You cannot select which bro you want to play with, so it's also a gamble. You might start with a bro you like, but end up with a bro you dislike.

There is also a variety in enemies. For the first half, you fight your average bad guys (called mooks) armed with rifles, machine guns, grenades, suicide bombers, and guard dogs. In the second half, xenomorph and facehugger look-alikes with acidic blood also appear, and they attack everything, including the mooks. And in the final mission, you go to hell, fight undead, and have an epic final battle with Satan. As you can probably guess, this game isn't about the story. It's about shooting and blowing up everything to liberate the world and bring justice. It's a love letter to action genre fans, especially because the environment is fully destructible.

There are four main modes: story (haha), arcade, ironbro, and custom. The story mode is everything I've mentioned above. Arcade mode is the exact same as the story mode, but without the world map. In ironbro mode, every bro you have will only get one life, which, aside from making the game more difficult, will also force you to develop a strategy. On the other hand, instead of having a fixed amount of lives on a level, based on how many prisoners you can rescue there, you can actually take all your previously rescued bros with you to the other levels as lives. That means you can have up to 35 lives in a single level, but once a bro dies, it stays dead. Also, you don't have to unlock special weapon crates and items like in the other game modes, they are available from the beginning. And finally, custom mode. You can download missions and maps made by other users, so if you've already finished the game a billion times, you'll still going to have fun without getting bored. Regardless of the game mode, you play all of them on either normal, or hard difficulty. On hard, enemies react faster and shoot faster.

In short, the good things:
-Fun gameplay
-Good replay value
-Devs periodically add new stuff

And only one bad thing: the arcade mode is kind of pointless, because it's almost the exact same as the story mode. They should add something to spice it up, like a character select screen which you can only use in this mode. Or something.

To sum it up: great game! Get it if you can.
