What even is this?
This isn't Naruto.
Where's the story?
I don't want to enter a stupid tournament.
The first time was alright, but I don't want to beat the tournament 6 more times.
Again, where the hell is the story?
Robotic Naruto story, what? WHAT? Is that really it?
I can't even use Awakening and my Ultimate Jutsu in the same fight? WHY?
Who thought a 4 person free for all was a good idea? I suck at these games and I DOMINATE every singe time because the CPU is so stupid.
Multiplayer is still ♥♥♥♥, no suprise there.
Do not buy this one, skip to the next.

At first i have to say its a Fanservice based Naruto Game and you propably wont like the Game if you hate the Anime.
Graphics: The Graphics are looking pretty handsome, the Effects are great and in my Opinion theyre looking better than in the Anime.
Story/SinglePlayer: If you like Storm 3 Generations and Storm 3 FullBurst only because of the Awesome Campaign Mode parallel to the Anime you propably wont be happy with Storm Revolution. It includes only a Tournament Mode wich is good entertainment but not as good as the Story from Storm 3 Full burst. The Game also includes a cute short Story about Mecha Naruto wich is also not bad at all, but you can finish it in like 3-7 hours.
Extent:There are exactly a 100 playable Fighters and a bunch off support Characters wich are all knwon from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. (except Mecha Naruto) And there's the right Character for everybody. Also most of the Charas feel very different.
Gameplay:Now the most important Thing on a Beat Em Up Game: The Gameplay, wich is on the usual high level. The Gameplay is as fast as it used to be in the other Naruto Storm Games and feels fckn great. Altough the Game is really balanced and rare nowadays.
Multiplayer: I would say the Online Mode is the Main Part of the Game its also really balanced , has nice and fair Matchmaking and a good Ranking System wich motivates you to play.
Conclusion: Its an handsome Game with pretty much Fanservice and awesome Gameplay wich is rly fun also if you dont watch the Anime.

It's got the charachters, that's about it. The multiple-charachter fights are annoying in the least, and I don't think the AI is very good at it. When it comes to one-on-one fighting, with or without support charachters it typically comes down to who can chakra rush successfully first, then you have the substitution advantage, and chakra rush is basicly a stun lock, then you can be combo'd and stun rushed again, unless you use your substitution jutsu, or are good with your support charachters. Of course you can try to block the stun, but that bounces them back, just far enough for them to charge for another rush, or block your rush. You can grab, too if you can pull it off, your special abilities usefullness depends on your charachter.
That's just the tip of the iceberg though, unlike other games you have to choose between taking an ultimate ability or a transformation. The campaign is just constant Arena fights and occasional fetch/fight quests. on one island. The Arena is primaily the annoying multi-person fights.
Overview: Spam your charged rush/melee combo/substitution unless you are deidara or tenten, point based 4-way fights are a good concept, but the targeting controls and camera make them an annoyance in a "Campaign" where they are practicly all that happens. Also no story line.

This is going to be a long one. Now I've been playing the Naruto Storm games ever since Storm 1 in 2008 and since then I've noticed how CC2 has been making these storm games year after year. Storm Revolution is pretty simple Generations 2.0, simple as that. I didn't plan on buying this but hey, it was $7 on the anime sale and I haven't played storm 3 for 2 years since my PS3 is still broken (yellow light of death).
Here are the pros:
>Team Ultimate Justus (it finally took them like 6 years lol, the ps2 ones already had them)
>More characters
>You can customize your keyboard controls
>1080p
>Better frame rate (ex: madara fire ball justu doesn't make the game all laggy like in storm 3)
>You can customize character's sub justu and put some armor outfits on them, a cool touch
Here are the cons:
>30fps lock, like wth CC2, this is the best you can do for the PC Port? Why bother even doing Vsync but it's locked at 30fps?! Luckily, I don't get any fps drops.
>CC2 KEEPS REMOVING STUFF! I've noticed that in storm revolution, CC2 removed some old ultimate justus (sasuke chidori stream, sakuras old ultimate justu, narutos kyubi rasengan) and some sound effects (Tobi freaking out in his ultimate, the shine sound when Guy does his thumbs up for his grab, etc. Either that or they changed some and it sounds really distracting! If it's not broken, DON'T FIX IT!
>Mecha-Naruto, the storymode for it is a joke, I'd rather watch a filler episo--wait...THEY MADE A FILLER EPISODE FOR HIM IN THE ANIME TOO?! GOREIHOIEGNOIERORENG
>The 3 type system, yeah because having less variety when fighting was totally a good idea. Seriously, all the previous storm games you can do a ultimate justu AND awaken in the same match, Storm 3 had some characters have instant-awaken which was alright but here you have to pick to Ultimate Justu, Awakening, or Drive....NOT UNLESS YOU'RE IN A TEAM MATCH, WHY THE HECK WOULD ANYONE WANT TO CHOOSE DRIVE SUPPORT?! Fortunately, they removed this dumb mechanic in Storm 4
>Missing alternative costumes from Storm 3, like seriously? I guess those will forever be Storm 3 Full Burst Exclusive
>Removal of Storm 3 Eternal Sharigan Sasuke, why????????
>Screen Tearing for anime cutscenes
>Removal of some stages, some stages from Storm 3 are missing, and we still don't have Training Field (Evening) from Generations...
>No Curse Mark Level 2 Juugo....IT'S BEEN 3 GAMES CC2, 3 GAMES AND YOU DON'T EVEN UPDATE JUUGO WTF
>Ony 1 new stage
>Online is dead, if you want to play online then ask people in the discussions forum for this game

Overall, I'm only recommending this to those who never owned a naruto storm game, I will admit that I still had fun playing this though. For newcomers, everything will be fresh for you BUT for those who have played the previous storm games, just get this when it's on sale or get Storm 4.

Great Naruto fighting game. With 110+ characters and new arenas it's great. But...this game feels more like dlc for Ultimate Ninja Storm 3.

There's no real story mode. There "tournament" mode is there take on a story mode. And simply it's just boring. It feel like a chore walking around completing tasks and such.

Final review for NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM Revolution is gonna be a 6/10 get this game if you plain on doing multiplayer or playing a bunch of single player match's otherwise theres just not enough content.

If you like anime fighter games, you'll like this game. It's a crazy, fast paced, anime fighting game, with a whole bunch of unique characters to choose from. You don't even need to have much Naruto knowledge to play, as there's no real story mode; which for some, may be a downside. However, while the lack of a story may seem lazy, there's a lot of gameplay time to be spent simply online, anyways. It's a lot like the 3D sections of Pokken Tournament, if you've played that.
