Steal weapons. Improvise gadgets. Evade capture. Uncover the conspiracy.

The Story:

On the run and fighting for your life, you are freelance journalist Matt Carter. Twelve hours after arriving in Moscow for a routine story, you've been stripped of all possessions, beaten unconscious and thrown into the KGB's political prison. Caught in the midst of an international conspiracy that aims to control the U.S.S.R., you are now on your own behind the "Iron Curtain". Using only recovered weapons and improvised gadgets, you must now evade and eliminate special Soviet forces and defeat the conspiracy or risk being either killed or sent to a remote Siberian prison camp.

Key Features:

  • Spy on your enemies through walls with the powerful and deadly X-ray camera
  • Complete missions in multiple ways: Stealth or Brute Force - the choice is yours
  • Interactive non-linear world: Accomplish objectives in multiple ways - find hidden paths, combine in-game elements to create weapons and traps, or silently eliminate opponents
  • Explore authentic recreations of real Soviet locations including: Lenin's Mausoleum, Chernobyl, the Kremlin and the KGB's Lubyanka prison
  • Collect and combine objects to create useful and deadly gadgets. You never know when a screw or a dirty old rag will come in handy.

You get what you pay for. It's really just a bland version of Splinter Cell with a hilariously cheesy plot. Pay the extra $5 for one of the older Splinter Cells if you want a better game.

Frustrating pile of garbage.

At best its an average stealth game, At worst its a terrible over the shoulder shooter.

I can't recommend this game unless you are a big stealthis/spy junky, and even then don't spend more than a few bucks.

The game starts off pretty well with stealth missions, but then dumps tons of nonsense on you.
You go from decent stealth missions, to poorly made missions where you are under a timer and have enemies literally spawning in on you, then afterwards it turns into a awkward gun battles as your enemies use a cover system you don't have access to.

You can tell this game was overbudget and where the rush to finish job begins.

It's no bad game. Like maybe 6.5-7/10. But be aware that it's a way outdated (made in 2005), and even then it wasn't able to compete with Splinter Cell.
Why buy it? Well, it's cheap, and it's spy-story stealth game. You can pass without killing, by fabricating your own devices like rubber bullets, silencers and ether mines from a junk and using cool x-ray camera to look behind, well, almost everything. Oh, if you remember old James Bond game, Nightfire - sorry, it's not That cool.
Just keep in mind that there are great games for this genre, like NOLF or Deus Ex, and there are some mediocre and generic, like this one or that JB Nightfire I've mentioned. Best of luck for you, anyways!
