Why Early Access?

“I wanted to allow players to play the game while I develop it, since basically all of the fundamental systems are done, I just need to add more content to flesh out the experience, like new enemies, stages, items, and characters. So, might as well give access to the content I already have done so players can experience it, and the feedback will help me balance the existing content and make future content better.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Development of the rest of the game should take 6-10 months, no more than a year I'd say, given how much I've already accomplished.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The plan is to have at least 4 stages, with new enemies and bosses added to match the theme of the new stages. Additionally, there is 1 additional character planned to be added, and any items and achievements that I come up with along the way.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The available demo features a single stage you can continuously loop, 3 characters, 10 achievements, and dozens of items. The paid early access version releasing soon will feature a second stage, an additional character, and even more items and achievements.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The plan currently is to increase the price slightly once it's fully released, as much more content will have been added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community can get involved by designing and suggesting new items, or suggesting balance changes to existing items, enemies, and player abilities. You can makes suggestions on the Steam forums or the Sirunknown Games tumblr blog (@sirunknowngames)”
